    me again!!

dougggie -I love the 'lets go overdue thread' but am beginning to wish i hadn't joined. Only 3 days overdue dougggie then you've got ages left yet. Sounds like you have done the right thing asking in laws not to keep calling - how can you relax if they keep calling. Good to see you were monitored when your bp was up.

Well i have done absolutely nothing this afternoon except dozed in bed, not even had any lunch just had a banana and toast now. Just a shame i have got to get up and fetch the kids now. Feeling drained and been for a couple of wees which are quite difficult to get out - is that a sign? Tell me it is.

Hi Septemberbaby - they are not newborns for long are they? I often think about how your baby was born in October and not September and you were one of the first overdueys that i remember. I've got a feeling you'll be back on the TTC list before long.

Maybe it's your body getting it's strength up, 3kids. It can't be too long to go for you anyway, though I know it may feel like ages. I keep popping on to see how you're doing though it'snot always easy to post as Tom generally wakes up if I try to put him down so he has lots of sleeps in my arms (very bad I know!)

Hi Linzm and welcome to the club.

wotnext - it is nice when you finally get a bump, in a way i will miss mine, it is like a licence to be fat isn't it.

I don't need a licence to be fat. :D

People were commenting today on the size of my bump. I keep telling them that it isn't all baby - there is a bit of baby, but it's just pushed my innards and fat up a bit giving me a rather lovely bump. :D Maybe I shouldn't be so honest with them.:o

Hey eveyone, one day til my due date anf very little sign of an appearance yet. I have a question, do any of you have a Tens machine? I had intended on getting one but with one thing or another i totally forgot. Now I am wondering if I should pay for a special delivery of one or not?

hi chocoholic - nice to hear from you - it is lovely when they fall asleep in your arms isn't it. My son is nearly 5 but if he very very occasionally falls asleep on my knee i love it.

carol9uk - try not to worry, as i said i have been there. as i said before my numbers were 1 in 180 so we were in a very similar situation.

Feeling really rubbish, my legs feel weak and down below a bit uncomfortable. OH is being a bit of a pig and hasn't even asked how i am, he seems blind to the fact that i am making the kids tea and picking up after them. if i ask him to do anything it is like 'if i have to' - finding it so annoying, and he's moaning about struggling to get time off work to help me taking the kids places. Still feeling very emotional and he isn't helping.

I sincerely apologise in advance for being the founder member of the MSE Overdue Club! :o. Really do want to start TTC again but will probably wait a little while yet, although at 34 I'm a late starter at this mummy lark so I had better get my skates on! :D

Any signs of the sweep moving things along? xxx

I'm sure everything will be just fine, Carol. Try and get some rest xxx
  • hi Septemberbaby - had a bit of red discharge yesterday from the sweep and just some normal discharge today - not sure if that includes a show. Feeling rubbish so hopefully something will start soon. Lots of people seem to start families later and 34 isn't old by any means - it depends if you want your children close together. for me this is definitely my last child and i am 30, but that is nothing to do with my age it is just that i think 4 children is definitely enough.

P.S. you are forgiven for starting the overdue club.:rotfl:

  • Hi everyone
I got my bfp last saturday and I haven't had any symptoms yet other than tender breasts...I was just wondering when peoples symptoms kicked in. With my first I was shattered the entire pregnancy, 2nd was much easier but with a 7 yr gap (forgotten the horrors of pregnancy:D )and being 36 I just wondered if that would make a difference....Thanks Rx
