Hi miss_b, think its a bit early to feel the baby move yet, but my sister told me she felt Holly move around at the first scan as they pressed down quite hard.... her husband said it has to be a girl as a boy wouldnt move around so much lol.
I havent been sick yet, if i let myself go too hungry i feel a bit sick but thats about it so far. My main problem has been feeling tired, my legs have been restless, had a few headaches and aches/periody type pains early on.
I've gone off tea completely, i usually love tea but have been drinking squash, water and juice instead now (healthier i guess!)... salad cream now makes me want to puke and i now love crisps (not usualy a crisp eater).
My sister took my niece to nursery for the first time yesterday, so im getting even more phone calls from her to see how i am (and to take her mind off missing Holly lol).
Big congrats to Cathie, i keep reading peoples birth stories and instead of scaring me, im feeling really positive right now.
Im glad theres other people to talk to on here!

Good luck with the scan honeybe21 hope it all goes ok.
Miss_Be - you have probably got carpal tunnel too, but i found when i had it in pregnancy last time if vanished within about a week. I think when we give birth we swap all these nastie niggles for a different load of them. Top tip for going for a wee for some time after the birth is to get a cheap plastic measuring jub with warm water in and pour it on yourself to as you wee to dilute the wee to make it less painful - i have already bought a spare jug. Like the shower curtain tip.now mum of 4!!!0 -

Keelykat - I hope that the scan goes ok for you. Once the first scans out the way it gets easier. At my first scan it got tears in my eyes seeing this little bean jumping around. It was moving and funny at the same time! Good luck.
Honeybe - good luck too.Baby Ember

Welcome Warburton
You beat me to it miss_be.
Should i really clean the bathroom for the 10th day in a row just in case baby comes? I have been changing the bed sheets every 5 days too. But why does the house still look like a tip when i do all this cleaning and why do 9 and 11 year old girls need to keep everything? Why does everything my OH own involved metres and metres of electricity cables? Would love to get a skip and chuck out loads. Getting sick of cleaning and tidying, can you tell?now mum of 4!!!0 -
3 kids - I'm sorry you're having so much cleaning to do. It isn't easy keeping everything clear even when you're not pregnant! I hope your baby comes soon so that you don't have to clean anymore.
I need to clean but have other things to do that are more important - like the finances - just done and now will be making a flyer. I really need to clean the fridge, hoover (again) and do the washing up. I'm having to really turn a blind eye as this flyer needs to be done before I pop. However getting the energy together to do it is proving difficult.
I had my last check up today at the hosp. It got me all annoyed and bothered. I only had to go to the hosp so that I could tell them that I no longer had the herpes but it cost £2 parking and because I'm not on the right benefits then I have to pay it. We are so skint at the moment it meant that I couldn't buy the red bush tea bags on the shopping list. What's more is that I thought maybe I could get the money back if I complained. This meant charging over to patient services and asking - this is where I found out I was not getting the right benefits to qualify. By this time I'd already paid the fee and the lady said I'd better hurry back to the car (just incase it went over the charge). So off I trundle only to get lost in the hospital halls. I couldn't find my way out. Then I get more panicky thinking I'm going to get charged more money. I wasn't a pretty sight. Of course walking at high speed at nearly 40 weeks is knackering. Then my legs started going. Argh. Anyway I finally found an exit I recognised and found the car. I didn't have to pay anymore but I was left feeling angry and hot and bothered with legs that didn't want to accelerate properly. Stupid parking fees! I'm calmer now! It was just annoying as had I seen my midwife at the Docs then it would have cost nothing and I could have got my red bush tea! Ah well. It's the last time I'll be going there hopefully - on with the birth I say! (Rant is over!) xBaby Ember

How annoying for your miss_be. What is a flyer that you are doing? Haven't you got another appointment booked in case you go overdue? Finding a parking space at the hospital i am booked in at is stressful and then you have to pay too.
Has anybody seen a consultant during this pregnancy? I saw someone near the beginning (waste of time as she was about 17 years old i'm sure) but haven't seen another one since?now mum of 4!!!0 -
3 Kids - I'm making an advertising flyer for a camp that I'm an organiser on. I just can't be bothered at the moment but it's something that needs to get done.
Re: the overdue appointment - I was supposed to book one and I've totally forgotten to do it. Thanks for reminding me (pregno brain again!). I just called the midwife and she's booked up now. They are going to get her to call later! Oh dear - lucky I mentioned that eh!? Thanks 3 Kids.
I saw a consultant for my herpes but I haven't seen anyone otherwise. I think unless you've got something wrong then they tend not to see you.Baby Ember
