Must be something in the water dougggie, my bundle of joy was giving me a right kicking last night too. It suddenly felt like he/she had doubled in size last night, felt a lot heavier and stronger. That with along with the carpal tunnel meant a very disturbed night. But I've had the carpal tunnel since about 4 months gone so I'm getting used to being knackered now lol.
Dared to weigh myself yesterday. 14 stone!!!!!
In reaction I had my first chocolate/cake - free day for a good while.2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0 -

ive had itchy legs all through out this pregnancy they itch so bad that i scratch till they bleed my OH has threatened to tie my hands to the bed before i go sleep bcuz i itch them in the night,i can only describe the itch as having a scalpel dragged over ur skin for a skin sample reapetdly all day and night.nothing helps ease the itching either.
i wiegh 8 stone lost alot through the morning sickness though and dont eat much junk food altho recently all i want to eat is macdonalds and chips and gravy lol.riley john born june 28th 2.35pm-8lb14.5 hour labour from waters to birth.0 -
JOJOB - don't suffer with the carpal tunnel - go along to your doctor who can refer you to get some splints for sleeping in. Get a few nights to get used to but at least if that is what is keeping you awake they enable to you to sleep.
good luck with scan sunday_girl.
douggie - could this be it for you? i am 2/5 engaged too but measuring 37 weeks (i think the midwife measured big to shut me up). Hope baby doesn't decide to come when the road is being done - although nothing like this ever goes to plan does it? I would really like my baby to come today and said that a few weeks back, i am 38weeks and 6 days so it isn't too early. He has definitely visibly dropped so i'm off to clean my kitchen floor to see if i can encourage him out.now mum of 4!!!0 -
Dougggie - your spa sounded great. What lovely friends you have to treat you to that. With the size of your baby and how much you measure could it be that you were wrongly dated to start with?
Sunday Girl - good luck with your scan - I hope it goes well for you.
honeybe21 - your itching doesn't sound good. Have you spoken to the midwife about it. Surely there's something that can be done?
3Kids - good luck with your cleaning! Are you sure it's not just a good excuse to go and clean again?!! lol.
Well today is my due date. Last night I got a slight bubbling feeling downstairs and I wondered whether that meant that things were starting to shift. I feel like she's fully engaged as walking upstairs is quite painful now. It really feels like her head is right behind my pubic bone! I'm really feeling like it's got to be soon.
I managed to finish the flyer yesterday and now I'm into a cleaning frenzy. OH has been sent off to get supplies as I really feel like we need to be stocked up (well as stocked up on £20 a week as can be - although we are spending another £10 to be on the safe side!). When I go into birth my mum and dad will be coming up to stay and they'll bring some food with them too which will really help out.
So it feels like all systems are go here! I think!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!??! xBaby Ember

Hi miss_be - sounds like things may be starting for you. Sending lots of labour vibes and hope things go OK.
I've just had a little sleep and have woken feeling absolutely rubbish - wouldn't have bothered if i had known!now mum of 4!!!0 -
Congratulations to all newbies :j and congratulations on having a boy honeybe21
Sunday Girl- good luck with your scan
miss_be- how exciting hope your feeling well, its getting really exciting all these babys due sending you some labour vibes.
3KIDS- Know what you mean about feeling worse when you wake up I woke up yesterday with one blocked nostril its been doing my head in ever since.
Before I forget has anyone else got a really sore belly button? Mine sticks out at the top like a nose and its really sore doesn't help that i keep knocking it really tempted to put a plaster over it.
Hope everyone is well0 -
miss_be please don't go into labour before me. I may get labour envy!
My due date was yesterday and nothing happened! I had to see the consultant today who said I was having a very small baby!!!! He said its not ready to come out! So what does that mean?
This is bearing in mind that my 12 week scan in Colchester, Essex put my due date at the 19th January, then when I moved to Kendal they gave me another scan and said I was actually due the 19th February. Which meant that by the 19th Feb due date I was only pregnant by 8 days when i found out I was pregnant! I must be so in tune with my body!
I have to see him next Wednesday to discuss options but now I'm worrying that if I get induced on the Thursday which is the 28th I will have it on the 29th.
Argh why can nothing be simple!0 -
hi all
miss-be and nicci985 things are moving along for you.
sunday girl hope your scan went well.
i had mt first scan last week and i am week ahead, so can some please put be at 6th feb instead of 13th, heard he babies heartbet for the first time yesterday, couldnt stop smiling as was leaving the doctors, i am sure some people thought i was weird.
i am only 16th weeks but can feel the baby moving around a lot, he/she was moving around at the doctors. i thought this is too early feel like six months already and OH said a was wadling as i was walking, cant bear to go on scales. is there anyone else who is 16 weeks and feeling like this???0 -
Thanks to everyone for the labour vibes - as yet nothing has happened but it would be more convenient if I went into labour on Friday anyway! Here's hoping (if slightly delusional!)
Nicci - Ah yes, the dreaded 29th of Feb! If it's meant to be that your little one is gonna come out on the 29th then it will just happen that way - nothing you can do. Other than try every conceivable way of giving birth before hand:
* eating fresh pineapple (many not too much as it might upset your tummy)
* having a hot curry
* pressing the acupressure pads on the middle pads of your big toes to stimulate contractions
* pressing the acupressure points on your ankles to also encourage uterine contractions
* having lots of sex as sperm has these prostoglandins in them that the cervix doesn't like
* bouncing on a birthing ball - gently
* plenty of nipple stimulation
* imagining that your cervix is opening
* probably doing all of the above
Apparently the accupressure ones are very effective but it means bending down to do it or getting your toes up to you - both of which are difficult with a big bump in the way. So get your OH to do it. I hoped to find a better page than this but it at least tells you where the point is:

I hope it helps. xxxBaby Ember
