This website is actually really lovely. It has all non fear based pregnancy stuff and is about empowering pregnant women. I've just had a look around it and it's got loads of really useful info. I'd definitely recommend to all of you out there!

Hi 3kids - hope you are feeling a little better - we have miles and miles and miles of cables - have finally got used to it! Must be soon for you!

    Cathie - congratulations!

Miss Be - my SIL thinks that the foot reflexology thing started her off. I thought I might have been hurried along by the three days worth of raspberry leaf tea (DH has reminded me that that I seemed to be getting ready before this though, alhthough due to the speed I delivered it may have helped there).

Congrats to all others who have had good scans etc.

We are ok - Annabeth is being so good I can't quite believe it. DH has her for some of the evening so I can sleep and manage the night shift, which is helping, although I miss the evenings. We have colds though and she is too tiny to have a blocked nose already! Is shaking it off well though. Breastfeeding is also going well - last time I hated it and it was the bane of my life, but is better this time. DS is gorgeous with her still, but still a bit of a nightmare - am changing his nursery and times to a pre-school so that may help a bit.

    Sending labour vibes to everyone!

Dougggie - your spa sounded great. What lovely friends you have to treat you to that. With the size of your baby and how much you measure could it be that you were wrongly dated to start with?

Hi miss_be - no. no chance the dates are wrong (if anything my edd is 1-2 days early based on conception ;) )
Felt fine today, so a decent amount of sleep probably helped a lot. Still painful in the pelvis where the head is, but no cramps/aching today. Just as well since i had 4 different sets of visitors and the mobile hairdresser round! Got to play with a friend's 7 wk old baby and wasn't freaked by it at all, she was lovely and didn't cry on me :rotfl: Also, on the few whimpering occasions, I was pleased to see my pooch was unphased by the whole thing so that's a relief knowing he won't be too nervous!
  • nicci985 - I bought a brand new summer one for 9.99 (+4.99) delivery from ebay and its great - the same one sells in argos and tesco for 29.99 so great bargain. People thought it was a waste of money but I have really enjoyed having it:p

  • Hi guys, thanks for your good wishes for my scan yesterday. Everything went well, and all the checks appeared normal. The baby was in the breech position so she said it wasn't as easy to tell the sex but she hadn't seen any boy's bits so it is probably a girl!
  • Also, good luck to those due or overdue....hoping to hear some more birth announcements soon!

Hello everyone! Some of you may remember my user name from being on the TTC list? Back in November I was feeling very down and decided to take my name off the list as I thought it wasn't bringing me any luck(?)!

A few days later I got the good news - my big fat positive! A week later, I miscarried...now for the fantastic news! I am now 10 weeks pregnant!!!! :j

Had my scan at the beginning of the week and all is well. Baby is due on the 6th September. Going back in a few weeks for my 12 week scan - can't wait to see my baby again. It feels so more real now I've seen "it." I was so worried there would be nothing there!

Good luck to all those who are due/about due, and especially those on the TTC list x x x x x x
