Hi everyone,
Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but i'm in need of some advice (or a least a chance to share the problem).
We are currently trying to conceive, with no results as yet. A sibling of mine has just announced they are planning their wedding over seas in the autumn. I'm over the moon for them and normally i'd have bought my tickets 5 mins after i got the news - but now i dont know what to do? I suppose i'll have to wait a couple of months before buying the tickets - but then they might be prohibitively expensive.
Has anyone any experience of having to change/sell flights due to pregnancy? (maybe i should just buy them now and see what happens??)0 -
Thats a tricky one, because you cant be totally sure when you'll concieve and so how far along you'd be at that stage.
Early in pregnancy it s ok to fly i think, but not after a certain amount of months?
Good luck with ttc btw!

Hi everyone,
Can I join the thread.
I'm SAHM to my 2 1/2 yr old son and am 17 weeks pregnant with baby 2.
I was hospitalised with awful morning sickness for weeks and am just past the feeling like I'm dying stage.
I am being moneysaving by getting a few cloth nappies together (would have last time but won a voucher book from pampers for £400 in £5 nappy vouchers) and just using as much from ds as possible, although wanting to get a sling or two for everyday as I hate prams lol
I have my scan on 18th feb and hoping it'll make me a bit more excited as I've been so ill I haven't had time to get used to the idea yet :-)0 -
hi lindsay- lou. i am in a simialr situation to you, i have been invited to a close friends wedding in june in poland but i will be 30 weeks then, from what information i have seen after 28 weeks you have to get a note from your doctor stating you are safe to fly and i dont think you can fly after 35 weeks. i am not booking anything till i am near the date. not sure if this information is any good to you.
welcome growingaflamily and i hope you are feeling better0 -
To everyone stockpiling wipes and nappies etc - I had a result today. Read on the forums about Pregnancy and birth magazine having lots of huggies and huggies wipes vouchers in. I bought it and went to tescos to do a shop. Huggies wipes are on BOGOF, I got 4 packs (£10 worth) so with the coupons they were all free. Then I used up all the other coupons against the rest of my shopping though I didn't buy any more huggies - the coupons went through the till fine. So got a £26 shop for £8. Worth a go!2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0

Hi again,
I just thought I'd post this website as it has info on how to make your own baby wipe recipe. Basically you can buy a pack of baby wipes and wash them after you've finished using them and you can reuse them again by adding your own home made baby wipe solution to them. All baby wipes can be reused many times as they are very tough.

It also means that you know what sort of chemicals are going onto your little ones bot! There is also a recipe for you to have your own wipes instead of using old liners.
I also got told that when you are using terries or re-useable nappies and need a liner to go in it as extra protection then you can use fleece. It washes really easily, doesn't fray and is a really cheap alternative to buying proper liners. I just cut up an old fleece that I wasn't wearing anymore. Even though it's blue I can still wash it with all the nappies as fleece doesn't run. Hurrah. My mum is also bringing me another fleece to cut up so that I've got enough.
I hope this helps. xxxBaby Ember
