Hope you've managed to get a little sleep and hope today goes fantastically well for you. Looking forward to hearing about it and seeing pics of the LO.

I'm home on my own in tears this afternoon. I was officially due on yesterday. Well I think I was, my periods have been settled the last 3 months. So I didn't come on, and I didn't sleep last night for wondering if I could be pregnant. I've had no other clues that I could be, but I let my mind run away with me. I then did a test this morning, so I could sleep tonight without wondering and it was, as expected really, negative. The thing is, I've been breaking my heart all day today. I know it's silly. We've only been trying since August, and there's plenty of time yet.
I just took the first opportunity I could to get my hopes up, and now I'm suffering the fall. I had an afternoon to do my own things in work today, and I just came home after an hour because I couldn't focu. I'm sitting here miserable now, waiting for my OH to come home. I'm probably gonna spend the whole evening crying (which is a sure sign I'm coming on...) I dont' think I can handle this every month until it happens.
Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o :o

Sorry you feel so bad - and it really isn't silly. It took me fourteen months of trying to fall for my ds, and nearly two years for my current bubs (on and off) and it feels bad each time. I found it was worse if I'd had a rubbish time at work or something because then the baby became an alternative if you know what I mean. You are bound to be disappointed so just let it out, and then start with the slate clean this month. You can always do your basal body temp etc to see if you are ovulating and when if it puts your mind at rest. I'm sure others will be along with more advice soon.
    Sending hugs (()) anyway.

I had a scan today to check if my placenta has moved up as it was low lying at 20 weeks and it has now moved, which is really good news as we had a little scare before christmas when I was bleeding and had to stay in hospital overnight.
So it's all systems go for a natural birth.
I have only got 2 days left at work and the baby is due in 4 weeks - I am a bit worried about how I will fill all that time, but I am sure there will be things to do - we have got 5 doors that need to be painted and I guess I will need to pack a bag and wash some baby clothes etc.
I guess I will be able to keep up to date with all that's going on here too.

something i meant to post before but never did for all soon-to-be mums a contraction counter that saves you writing down contraction times. i found it valuable.
