Just back form my midwife apointment (in the snow!) Baby is still breech so have a scan booked for next week to see if any change, then will have to decide what to do. Feeling a bit period pain-y now around my stomach and lower back - probably off all the poking around she did!0

Hey don't rule yourself out of the running just yet!!
I'm not bl**dy running anywhere! :rotfl: :rotfl: back from seeing midwife, clinic was total shambles, running an hour late. I was joking with the woman next to me that I'd go into labour to queue jump if I had to! all is fine with baby, just needs to come out now :rolleyes:0 -
I've been feeling really nautious this past couple of days. Am sure I'm not pg but am wondering if any of you guys found anything that worked for your morning sickness, I know it's hormones that cause that, but I'm prepared to try anything. I just had a cup of tea (black, can't take milk) after coming in and had to do a lot of deep breathing to stop myself throwing up! Still trying 10 minutes later.
I've also been waking during the night in need of food, rather unusual but still, am sure there's some reason out there!! Any tips on what I should keep by my bed that I can eat without having to go make anything and that won't be too bad for my teeth??????
Thanks!!0 -
I found that drinking Sprite or a ginger/rhubarb cordial helped with MS, particularly when I was in the car. Sainsburys do a very nice ginger and rhubarb cordial.
When I needed to eat something, I had wheaten crackers (from M&S) but available at other supermarkets - they were quite savoury and a bit tooth friendly; or I made some really good Ginger Snaps - a variant of a Delia Smith Recipe that I came up with - my DP liked them with more spice in them, and I added some glace ginger too. I'm still making them (although more for my DP than me as I only feel queasy when I haven't eaten in a while) and I'm 26+3.
I've not been able to drink anything milky either - I had a Latte from Starbucks recently, and within an hour, I was talking with the toilet again!!
