NO and I can tell you why!! My waters broke at 7am this morning!! We went up to the hospital because of the suspected breech position. They monitored me and I am less than 1cm dialated and my cervix is very very high up - I also haven't had any contractions. Well actually I have had one. At 8:40am. Nothing since.
So I am at home now playing the waiting game feeling like I have wet myself! I am due to go back into the hospital to be induced if nothing else is forthcoming st morning at 8am.
SCARED NOW!
Ooh, Shelvis, sending you loads of labour vibes. At least it looks like something might be happening soon. Try to do something to keep your mind off it. I know i am going mad waiting for my induction, so am trying to keep myself busy with little tasks.Sorting my life out to give a better life to my:heartsmil 2 gorgeous boys :heartsmil0 -

It would appear so!! I had NO sleep at all and when I say non I mean non. I went to bed at 6:45am. My alarm clock went off at 7am for OH to go to work. I went for a wee and the rest of my plug fell out into the bowl with a massive gush of water. I am now waiting for OH to get back from bakers with ahuge bacon and cheese sarnie as I am STARVING and then I hope to doze on the sofa all day.
Good luck fils I hope the induction process is easy and suits you fine. Look at it this way they wouldn't do it if it wasn't best for baby.0 -

Just thinking as the sales are on...
Is there anything we can be stocking up on that are needed in the last few weeks of pregnancy/ first few weeks of motherhood that we aren't likely to be given as presents?
I'm thinking of things like breast pads.
Anyone got other ideas?Baby Boy due 4/3/08

How about things like sanitary towels (I have been using loads of them in the last couple of weeks with all the discharge i've been getting [sorry if tmi!]), also maternity towels and disposable or cheap knickers for afterwards. Cheap t-shirt to give birth in.
This is such a lovely process isn't it?!!Sorting my life out to give a better life to my:heartsmil 2 gorgeous boys :heartsmil0
