at a possible 7 weeks pregnant (1st baby), how and where should the cervix be? I'm thinking not high, not low and where you can fit the tip of a finger into the dimple in it, this would mean not pregnant, right?
Or is it that the cervix rises and closes tightly a little later??

Hello, I'm going to come out of hiding now!!!!

Baby is due 29th April. We don't want to know the sex. Pregnancy is going well at the moment. We had a bit of a drama earlier on when we had a nuchal scan and given high odds of having a a downs child. We had a CVS and after a long wait we got the all clear. If anyone is currently going through similar and would like to chat, send me a pm.

Oh, I see I have been moved onto the probably given birth list, but unfortunately no such luck yet. I must admit I am quite glad it didn't happen yesterday, but would quite like it to happen now. Don't want to be 'overdue' for long. Am booked in for a sweep on New Years Eve if it hasn't happened by then!

Anyway, merry christmas to all. Will let you know if / when anything happens!

Welcome Katgoddess, looks like April is going to be a busy month for MSE births! Must have been a rollercoaster for you lately, glad things are looking up now.

I thought it odd too, flis! Obvously shelvis assumes all babe's arrive on their due date :rotfl:;):p.

My SIL is due on Friday so we are full of anticipation....can't wait for Poppy to have her first cousin (a boy to be called Sam!).

We don't call this the overdue thread for nothing!!! hee hee. I am going to be most upset if I don't go ovedue after all this because I actually want to!!!

Am on tenterhooks waiting for news though there was so much happening the other day now everyone has disappeared and I don't know if that's Christmas or babies!!!
