been a while since i posted but thought i'd say congrats to all those who have had their bundles of joy, good luck vibes to those still waiting and welcome to those who have joined us here.
i have been having a tuff time during this pregnancy with suffering from spd, my mum having breast cancer and her having a mastectomy, and just everything not going to plan so i asked for a c-section today and have been booked in for the 9th jan. i'll not up myself on the list just yet as i might still go for the natural way. have got some raspberry leaf tablets so hoping still for the ickle 1 to make it's own way into this world.

Hi everyone,

Well no sign of baby making an appearance yet. I really hoped it would happen before Christmas, but doesn't look like it will be until after now. Have been over to the hospital daily this week, as there was a query as to whether I was getting pre-eclampsia, but luckily it doesn't look like it. They are seeing me again this morning and if all is well I get 2 days off and go back on Monday.

Anyway, good luck and labour vibes to all those due over Christmas.

Slapps - What a nightmare time for you but hopefully it's all change from now on...It's not going to be long! In fact you might just beat me to it,If i have to go in & be induced it will be around the 10th.

JoJo I tried the ankle thing last nite and I'm not sure if it was just coincidince but babe start havin hissy fits and movin about like nothing on earth!!
Can I use the same point on both ankles??

Doobees Congrats on the flat. Just watch the paint is safe to use in pregnancy don't want you and babe gettin high on fumes!!

awwwwwwwwwwww ty all i know it will get better as i have been in a lower place before and crawled out lol

i was feeling low yesterday so i forgot to add the good points
my mum has been given the all clear so that was brill news
as 4 baby well i just felt i needed a bit of control as everything else was out of my control if that makes sence.
anyway feeling better today and trying all the tricks to get baby out naturally.

My baby girl has finally arrived.

Had a show on Monday, mild contractions stopping and starting all day Monday and Tuesday. Went into hospital 3am Wednesday morning, was 3cm. Examined again at 7.15 - still 3cm:mad: Had some diamorphine (bliss) really helped me to relax and rest and took a good few layers off the pain. Waters BURST at 8.20 just as MIL went for walk (door had literally snapped shut) Baby was born at 8.36am - luckily MIL arrived back in time.

Husband and MIL were fabulous and I couldn't have wished for better Midwives - they were just brilliant.

Neve was a bit bruised around the head from being born so quick, but she's doing really well and feeding great.
