  • I never saw anyone at the clinic apart from a young girl with no bump. I think i passed somebody on the way out but i never thought to notice, was that you? do you think you saw me? Dare you say what time you went? and where is this picture? :D

Yeah, that was me the young girl without a bump! I wish! I am neither young, nor lacking in a bump. i would have been the one lumbering in heaving my vast weight along with me. Ok my appointment was 4.45 - I think i was probably the last one of the day. Still haven't posted a pic as don't know how to cut my head off the one I have - unless I take anther one.

Midwife said my blood pressure is up, along with my feet and ankles and to be alert for headaches and vision problems. I have a headache now but think it is probably just me being a hypochondriac - I hear these things and onvince myself I have them, I'm sure. Also baby still not where he needs to be to be born. Midwife says he has two weeks to get on with it - not sure what she will do then though?
  • It wasn't me Choc, my appointment was a couple of hours before you. But i wasn't far away as i was in the GP's next door at exactly that time!

Can they try to move the baby? He will probably move at the very last minute and think its funny :D

I chopped my head off on my computer before uploading it if that helps any... im going to take a pic in the mirror now and post it...
 I love my gorgeous little girl

I don't know what they'll do. I think they can try to move him. They did say at my second scan that I had a fibroid growing at the top of my cervix and it may stop the baby getting into position; the midwife didn't seem too concerned though, so I'm not. I'm sure he'll find a way out one way or another, sooner or later!
  • Well came back from hospital last night after stitch removal. It was a nightmare, the first two doctors couldn't get to it so my consultant had to come in and retrieve it! After plenty of prodding and fiddling down there I felt a pop and it came out. The consultant checked my cervix and it's thin and the baby's head is engaged. I then went on trace monitor and was having regular mild contractions which eventually slowed down so I was allowed home on the condition I come back if I get painful contractions every 15 minutes. Last night had a few mild contractions but nothing more so I'm resting now. Just got dull pain in my lower pelvis and back, so I guess it's just the waiting game now.

    Hi everyone,

Well done Kelsi-blu hope you have had your mind put at rest now!

Another quick one from me I'm afraid but a bit of a bargain one. Went into Boots today and got an eggshell blue 'mother and baby overnight bag' reduced from £20 to £3.75! Not big enough for both of you to be honest but great just for the baby stuff to keep in one place. Also their own brand nappies are £1 off making them £1.49 for 24. I've used them before and they aren't too bad so will be stocking up as don't know how much their offer is on for. All their children's clothes seemed to be half price too.
Annabeth Charlotte arrived on 7th February 2008, 2.5 weeks early :D

Ooh what a bargain :T although I have to admit i've been stock piling nappies for some time...in fact just out of curtiosity i've had a count up & i've got about 10 packs, various makes & in 2 different sizes. I've been buying them in when they have been on special offer or to get my extra Boots points :rotfl: Ah well at least I won't run out in a hurry!

How are we all then? I'm feeling good,I've been out shopping in Notts for the best part of 3 hours & then I popped into Asda. Not sure where my burst of energy is from!?

Counting the day's now...even if I have to go in & be induced it's only going to be 3ish weeks until I get to meet my little one! :j I'm so excited!!!!!
Our 1st baby is due 29th December 2007! :rudolf:
I'm hopeful that this get's me out of cooking Christmas dinner!

Baby Ruby arrived after 55 hours of labour & an emergency c section on Christmas Day at 14.41 weighing 6lb 6oz...And yes I did get out of cooking Christmas dinner!!:rotfl:
  • Hey,
Does anyone mind if I gatecrash?? I'm not pregnant and not yet ttc, but hopefully will be in summer (once I've got a load of other things out of the way). I've just read through every post on this thread, it's taken days!! It's been fantastic to read through the journey of people's pregnancy.
I'm incredibly broody myself and can't wait to have a baby, even with the nightmares that pregnancy seems to bring.

I'll probably hang around here for a bit, just being nosey and picking up on tips etc. and then get my name on the ttc list as soon as DH and I start trying!!! It's so exciting!! We're both in our mid-20's and would really like to be telling people we're pregnant by this time next year. Ahhh....feels like so far away!!
  • Hey pull up a chair always good to have new members!! Just hope we dont put you off with all our moaning!! Ha ha we all love it really.
  • Lol.
I'm not sure anything could put me off. Sad innit.
It's giving me an incite into what all could be ahead for me / us. Some of it I admit I'd not really thought about, other parts (i.e. labour) I'm already dreading!!!!
Ta for not telling me to go away :)
