this is baby no4 and i have never had this before?? think i am maybe worrying a bit much but would really like a homebirth and to be honest the other 3 births were nothing like i wanted 2 inductions and one that no-one believed i was in labour until i nearly gave birth in the hospital hallway.:O:O:O
told husband not to tire himself out too much as he is getting this baby to turn one way or another pmsl:P:P:P
So it is true that births can be different? You obviously didn't need an induction for number 3!! My first two were very similar - long and slow!!! I am determined that this labour is going to be fairly short!0 -
melt71 welcome and congrats.
I had the midwife today and she thinks my ithching could possibly be Obstetric cholestasis. So have had blood taken and going to see consultant on Thursday. Then he will take it from there.

Morning all,
Just to let y'all know Squirt is on the way!:T
I've been having contractions since 3 this morning, and now Hubby and I are waiting till they're 5mins apart before going to hospital!
He's fussing, and panicking more than I am, bless him, (and after 3 cups of coffee, he's just vaccuumed the lounge, kitchen and dining room! Does this mean the "Nesting" instinct affects both parents?! :rotfl: )
I'm still supprisingly calm...for now!
More details to follow.....right, better go do some waiting!
