3Kids, please don't hesitate to call the MW if you are at all concerned. That is what they are there for. Who cares if they think you are a pain in the butt! - yours and babys health are way more important. If you haven't called today, please call them tomorrow to put your mind at rest (sorry for being so bossy! ). Do you have a local SureStart centre? Mine has a MW attached to it and she let me hear my babe's heartbeat before my 'real' midwife appointment - I could have hugged her!

glad i made you all laugh, can laugh about it now but not at the time i kept looking at her saying what is she wearing!!! hopefully things should be fine this time!!

3kids if you are worried then phone thats what i have been told they would rather you were in 100 times and happy than put it off and made yourself ill with worry xxxx

3Kids i find that having somebody to talk to is a huge help and although there isnt very much they can do, its the being listened to that helps, so if you ever want to chat away from the boards via Email, PM or IM just send me a message.

A couple of questions please.....

My belly has started to go very very solid, all the books say about Braxton Hicks is that they may last up to 30 seconds but this seems to last hours, what is it?

She usually pokes her feet out about half way down my right side but has managed to get her feet right up near my boobs, she only gets right up there while she's stretching out and doing her daily workout but it hurts like hell and takes my breath away. Is there anything i can do? maybe a position i can adopt whilst shes doing this to ease the pain?

Please dont tell me it will only get worse :eek:

Nope tis weird though dont feel too bad on it! Must be my bodies way of getting me used to having no sleep whatsoever! Hey everyone how on EARTH do you reach your feet when you get to this sort of size/dates? I am badly in need of taking off the nail varnish and clipping the old toenails but without being a contorsionist I have no chance of getting at them!! Might have to spring for a professional pedicure I think!!

Shelvis - I was lucky, my best mate bought me a pedicure voucher for my birthday!

(I think it was about £20) - I definately recomend it (even better if someone else pays! )

It was really relaxing, just to think about nothing while it was being done!

Can't you bribe a friend to take pity on your feet?
OH's are rubbish - mine wouldn't even cut my toenails.....and I thought he loved me! :rotfl:

If it makes you feel any better, I have problems putting my knickers on... (because of the whole bending being a problem!)
