    HC ellie is beautiful!!!!!!

love and sympathy to all in need of it and labour vibes for those in need

my back hasnt been to bad this week but dont think im giving it much chance to hurt as i havent stopped past few days lol!!! thats most rooms gutted out and OH started to decorate babies room, i had a look throught what we still need and what we have (cough cough think i forgot to stop buying toiletries in the sainsburys offers:P:P) but nearly there and hoping it will all be done so i can sit with my feet up during christmas knowing its all done and presents are all wrapped in the attic!!!

hahaha forgot to add i have been hanging all kids clothes up in outfits in their wardrobes just in case baby comes early then i wont be mortified when they turn up at hosp to visit! as when my DS was born it was snowing in jan and DD turned up in a summer dress wooly tights and wellies, i was not impressed but am making sure same thing cant happen again:D:D:D
What's for you won't go past you

Downs and Spina Bifida. I will trawl the net. Quite worrying to think I might be 1 in 251 though. Seeing consultant at foetal anomaly scan in 2 weeks so wil ask for exact figures then.

Sorry didn't mean to scare you. I wouldn't worry as your figures are probably way higher (lower risk). I am sure if you are at all concerned and gave your midwife a quick call she would be able to tell you your exact figure. Mine were higher risk and we had an amnio and everything has turned out for the best - sometimes think these tests just give us something extra to worry about.

Contemplated ringing midwife today for a home visit as i would really like to hear the baby's heartbeat and discuss a few niggles - didn't though as i wasn't sure if this was the done thing and don't want to be considered a pain in the .....!!

Sorry this really made me laugh :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

3kids I would say that if you want the midwife to visit you then why not give her a bell she can only say no then you can just get her next available appointment. Coz it ain't nice when you've got niggles. And you wouldn't be being a pain in the a*** that is after all why they are there to support you as much as poss. Hope everything is ok.

Lol, I liked this. I once worked with a woman who went into hospital and her OH brought their little boys in to see her dressed in their pyjamas. They were those shorts and T-shirt pyjama sets and the OH had thought they were clothes. She was not impressed.

:T :T Made me laugh but sadly it's a must for me too. I will know my date as I have to have a section. The 7yr old will manage to dress himself reasonably, the biggest worry I will have about him is clean underwear. The 15mos old, who will be 20mos when the baby arrive will need stuff laid out. Dh thinks if clothes have a label stating 18-24 mos it will fit, it must fit cos it says it should. Poor mite will be jammed in to outfits too small for him or if they are generous, too large. I remember with ds 1 dh trying to jam him into an outfit for a 9-12 mos I had hanging in the wardrobe when he was about 20mos, why did dh think it would fit? cos it was hanging off a 18-24mos hanger:confused::confused:

Sorry, didn't mean to put the guilt trip on you:o I worry about worrying, that's me all over. I had my head prepared for a high risk tbh and was expecting to be summoned in for an amnio, I should be very grateful for this result and stop twittering over it.

    Yipee..

    Baby born last night.. :)

Took wife to her mums for some sunday dinner as it was her fathers birthday. Ended up coming back and she had contractions / cramps every now and then. I decided to go round a roundabout a few times, which managed to set the baby off. We arrived at hospital at 7:40pm, to be told that she was fully dia-lated at 7-50pm and that she could not have any pain relief.

    8:11pm he arrived...

Must say that she did well, as when she arrived she asked for pain relief to be told it was too late, as it was happening now.. :)

    ha..

Im forever just walking into the clinic to ask the midwife a question and as somebody else said thats what they are there for.

Im sure the thought of you being a pain wouldnt even cross their minds but even if it did at least you will have a little peace of mind.
