anyways also i havent told them yet about the pregnancy i thought i wud get permanent then i wud tell them, but now i am worried as my mortgage is nearly sorted out,

Sorry to tell you this, but they can sack a pregnant woman. There just can't be any pregnancy reasons.
What is it that they want you to improve - your time keeping ? I don't want to go into a big speel about what you can be sacked for and can't, so could you perhaps tell us a few more specific details ?0 -

Time keeping is fine i work my hours plus half hour each day extra without any extra pay
Apparently they want me to take more initative and do things without being told,
i was temping here for 2 months before they offered me a permanent position with a probation period, and i havent chnaged since, so i am not sure i have been here since march....IF I HAVE HELPED YOU CLICK THE:heart2:THANKS:heart2:BUTTON:heart2: I LOVE BOOTS :heart2:BOOTS ACM £298.95(bought camcorder with 21999 points)QUIDCO £53.97(£494.24 PAID)PIGSBACK £6.00 (£60.00 Vouchers redeemed)TESCO POINTS 5899 Saving for Holiday in 2009...:A BABY DUE IN JUNE 2008:A:happyloveLILACLILY0 -

Didn't realise I just had to add myself to the list - thanks Sugarcubed.
Had my 20 week scan last week- I have a low-lying placenta but apparently this is quite common at the 20 week scan and in 90% of cases it self corrects by 36 weeks? It's the thought of having to have a c-section if it doesn't that's scary! Trying not to think about it until we're nearer the due date.0 -

At my 20 week scan the sonographer said I had a low lying placenta and also fibroids growing across cervix but the consultant said was nothing to worry abut. He said they will wait and see what baby is doing by 36 weeks and then maybe rescan to see what's happening there.
Had 4d scan at weekend and baby is currently head up, feet down, anyone know about when they get into head down position?0 -

2nd child, so were off to the hospital today for a checkup as not felt the baby move for a few days, and stomach goes tight, then loose.
maybe then can speed things up..0 -

they have plenty of room to flip around and around in there if they want too until about 36 / 37 weeks....
the important words in that sentence are if they want too
mine... did not :rolleyes:0 -

I've read about things you can do to encourage baby to flip...
Getting down on all fours, and rolling your hips gently is supposed to help. I also found it helped to ease my chronic backache!
I also read somewhere that babies are "programmed" to turn their heads towards Mum/Dad's voice...So perhaps Daddy to be fancies having a conversation with the lil'un to coax 'em round?! (Must admit my hubby nearly wet himself when I told him this!) :rotfl:

Thanks, I usually wash at least one floor each day on my hands and knees so hopefully that will help. Also leaning forward over gym ball.
Still early days yet though! And the sonographer last week says she thinks he's starting to turn - he's just going the long way round. Typcal men!0 -
Hi Guys
Eventually had our 4D scan and it was amazing, it really couldn't of been any better. We got loads and loads of printed photos on the day as the baby loved preforming for us, the sonographer was genuinely really excited about it all and said it was one of the best scans.
The baby had the hiccups, was laughing, yawning, sticking her tounge out, smiling, wiggling her toes and for a split second looked like she was giving us a V sign :rotfl:
As you can see im really excited about it. She has the most chubby cheeks, loads of hair, a double chin and her whole face is the spitting image of me as a baby - she is just sooooooooo pretty. I love my gorgeous little girl0
