I am sooo sleepy! Is this normal when you're overdue or is it that anaemia thing? Last time I had a blood test was a month ago, and all was fine, but things change.
I just want to be able to do useful things, as far as the whale body allows, rather than being sat here staring into space, as it seems silly to go sleepy byes when you've JUST got up! I've already had a nap this morning...

It could be a sign that things are starting to happen, Agutka. ;) The morning before my DS1 decided to make an appearance, I didn't crawl out of bed until 2pm. It was my body's way of conserving my energy for the labour :D

:rotfl:Everything is a sign. I won't believe it until there is an angry looking little red person screaming on my chest!

I read in the rough guide to pregnancy that it is possible to be left to week 44!! before inducing. I really do hope my hospital has a sooner policy...

Back to sorting out the house - how many towels can a person own? I am such a hoarder! I wonder if I could lose a baby in a giant bath sheet... Better stick to baby towels I suppose...

They only let us go to term+12 here, although thats if the hospital has a spare bed to induce you. Mine will be term +13 at least

  • Maybe you're having my share of sleep and tiredness, Agutka... I've got a real energy burst today despite an awful night's sleep (thanks, cat). I've got two loads of washing on the line, tidied downstairs, made a huge batch of cupcakes, made some bread rolls, and am just about to start some soup. That's more than I've done all week!

Actually, now I'm sat down I don't really want to get up again
  • ooooh chuck us a cupcake Fac!
i painted Dannys room today, and now i can barely move!

think i might wait for OH to get in and have a wallow in the bath :)
  • *passes plate around* they're chocolate chip, I hope that'll do  You need to keep your strength up after all that work ;)
I 'accidentally' used 3 eggs instead of 2 so there are looooads :EasterBun

The bath is fast becoming my favourite place to be but I'm a bit wary of having one when OH is at work, just in case :o

And all my energy is gone now, so may this do gown as a momentous day at the end of my pregnancy, and I shall start preserving energy like any normal person and ignore the dusting from now on.
  • Evening!

Just thought I'd link through to my post about the BT Baby Monitor for £24.99 on here in case anyone's thinking of getting one

    Good luck everyone :)

Congratulations Casper! Gorgeous name, and you don't hear Joanne much anymore.

Fingers crossed for September Baby - something must happen soon!

    Good luck for everybody else!

I had a very weird dream with my ds where I gave birth to one of my cats......apparently that sort of thing is very common.
This time I started off with very promising (very) rude ones involving David Tennant, and one with the bigger one from Two Hairy Bikers (!), which lulled me into a false sense of security. Since then (some have been involved with a family bereavement though so I understood them) it's been downhill from there. Last night I had a dream where Bubs kept coming out to meet us and then going back in again, which the midwife wouldn't do anything about. Very X-files.
Annabeth Charlotte arrived on 7th February 2008, 2.5 weeks early :D
