Hi everyone, am climbing the walls waiting for this one to put in an appearance and haven't had a chance to look on here for ages, so it's been nice to catch up on things tonight. Don't know why I thought this one would be early as DS was 14 days late and DD was 10 days late, but now I feel like it's been 'any day now' for weeks!! Plus am the size of a small bungalow and have had to go for a couple of sizing scans to make sure the baby's not an elephant (not v reassuring) so the later it gets, the bigger the sprog could be (trying not to panic here at the thought!!) Deep calming breaths........lol0

Hi Nickydee! I'm sharing your impatience! Lets hope something (please, god, anything) happens soon!

I've been looking at travel systems
the in-laws have offered to buy us one anything up to about £350  well as we were going to get a 2nd had buggy & just a basic car seat i wasn't going to refuse!!!
So today we've been to mothercare to look (was great fun) and we think we would like a 'trenton deluxe' we had a play & got it all explained to us & it seems like the best one they had (not at too silly a price £260)
I can home & looked on the net & think it's the same as the 'graco quattro tour delux' which you can get in babies r us for £229
So my question is has anyone any experience of either of these?
Thanks ... and labour vibes to all that need them
Lou x0 -
Don't have any experience of using one but we bought one of those yesterday (trenton deluxe). It's manly enough for OH to push but looks ever so soft and snuggly!
Only thing is I paid for it in the shop and now wish I'd remembered to go through Quidco and buy it online!0 -

My friend and my cousin both have these (the graco one) and they're gorgeous prams. Really nice to push, really easy to get up and down and all snuggly for sprog.
The only thing is they're absolutely massive (I took friend's little girl out and nearly drove inot all sorts becuase I had no idea where it ended!). Cousin has a corsa and she says it 'just' fits in their boot! They're pretty heavy as well from what friend was saying. But I know they both love theirs :-)
Hope that, well didn't confused you too much!Comping, freebieing and trying to pay the mortgage off early!0 -

Hi everyone,
been meaning to add myself to this group for ages but kept forgetting. I'm due with my first on the 22nd of October - 3 weeks  I see I'm in good company with a couple of others due the same day as me. We've been told it's a girl.
I just started my maternity leave as at this Friday just gone and we're moving house and area on the 12th of October, 10 days before the baby is due. Have just been shopping and reading and trying to get ready.
Thanks!

Hello and welcome RenStar!
Don't go overdoing it will you, you are hereby instructed to lift nothing heavier than a mug and teaspoon.....tea and coffee making duties for you only!
Good luck with the move and the little one.....casper x"Put the kettle on Turkish, lets have a nice cup of tea.....no sugars for me.....I'm sweet enough"0 -
Thanks Casperlarue!
I've just been reading that pregnancy's best kept secret thread! Oh my word  !! I want to stop, because some of the stories are scaring me senseless but most are so funny I just can't stop reading. I think if I prepare myself for the worse then **hopefully** the gods will take pity on me and childbirth won't be that bad. Here's hoping anyways.
