had anotehr scan at early pregnancy unit on wednesday just to check everything was still ok after car crash. we saw its wee heart beating and it was so amazing so my mind is really at ease now. i read somewhere that once u have a scan with a heartbeat that chances of m/c are reduced. i am 8 weeks pregnant now and highly excited. seems like so long away though. i am last on the list!!
suffering with the sickness at the minute. more nausea but been sick afew times. been wearing the sickness bands but not working at all! so constipated too! sorry too much information!!

Who else is having trouble shaving their legs, taking shoes off, etc
I'm having conflicting opinions about the size of my bump, family and some close friends can't believe how 'small' i am, yet work colleagues comment on how 'big' i am. Probably got something to do with the fact that when having DS, i looked as if i'd swallowed a giant beach ball :rotfl:

lol know how you feel.....I'm definately too young to be the mother of two.

Seems like no. 2 is desperate to get out the hard way though...all day today have had him squirming and pushing through my (very stretched marked) belly - still not the right way up I fear, only one more week to turn ( am 37 wks on monday) or I lose my home birth!

Ps i think the ball is to make you look silly when you give birth - I've had a go on mine (£3.99 from Asda!) and I must say though it's fun at the mo I'm not sure how much use I'll get out of it on the day... ds likes it though so it wont go to waste.

My gym ball thing is still in its box, I haven't written in my pregnancy journal for weeks and my Pregnacare tablets have run out! :eek:

Well done rjh, glad all is working out for you! I didn't have more than a couple of day's luck with the bands, and they just left sore red ball dents on the inside of my wrists which were just as irritating! I'm still getting a bit of being sick in the morning at 19 weeks, but still better than all times of day like it was. Hope it isn't too bad for you. Constipation has been a nightmare too - thank goodness for dried apricots and sultana bran.

Septemberbaby - you just know you should buy another batch of pregnacare, that's guaranteed to set you off! Sending birthing vibes to all who would like them. My friend who was due on Wednesday is still waiting too. Probably too cold for them to come out!

I used a birthing ball for ds - it beat bending over a chair anyway. I had to hold onto the edge of the bed though so I wouldn't fall off it, so maybe some kind of handles like space-hoppers have would be better. Was going to buy ds on of them anyway so quite money-saving really.

I haven't been here for a while....times are busy with a 7 week old and a toddler!!

I Have just skimmed the posts, and was laughing at the post about leg shaving and putting on shoes etc..........it drove me mad when I couldn't do all that, BUT I really miss my bump now!!

Kaci is lovely and doing really well. She has put on 11lbs since birth. Unfortunately she has some reflux, and vomits a fair bit. Bevause she is otherwise healthy and gaining weight, they won't do anything about it.

I have been looking for a swing for her, but they are just so expensive! Today, I found one.......she has been more settled this evening than she has in a long time!! :j

So if any of you are looking for a swing this one is half price at Argos.

Oh My Goodness! What have I done! Did a test on Thursday, although I'd known I was pregnant for several days before as I've had several symptoms already.

Mr JKS is sooo excited as this is his first (I have DD almost 8 & DS just turned 5) & hes strutting around like God's gift to fertility (after all, what did I have to do with it all ).

Just waiting for a scan so I can be sure there aren't twins in there...
