Funnily enough, this is how i ended up with 2, i signed up and a month later hadn't heard anything so emailed them saying not rcvd voucher and they sent me just the coupon in the envelope, then a week later i actually recieved a full welcome pack, with another voucher inside.

That bath box is lovely, do you mind me asking how much it was?

Lol, sorry thought I'd said in my post. It was £10 - that's why I am so pleased with it! Will edit the post to say that!

I think that these were only on offer in Asda during baby week. I was cross with myself cos i missed out on these. Asked customer service to scan one for me last week and they had gone up to nearly £20

    Hi everyone

I tried to claim my tesco basket in the nearest Tesco to me yesterday. Not a small store but they don't stock them, was really disappointed as it was still really out of my way to go to and really want the basket. Have emailed Tescos and waiting their reply.

Anyone else suffering with varicose veins, mine have gradually spread up my leg to other areas (TMI I know!). Would love to put my feet up for the next 5 months but no chance of that.

I had to go to 3 Tesco's before i managed to get mine, they only stock them in Tesco extra stores, which meant a 1 hour round trip-Many people would think nothing of that, but when your pregnant it really takes it out of you, seat belt cuts in, maternity jeans feel like they are strangling your belly, feet hurt as they are so swollen and by the time you've got to the store your desperate for a wee.

Regarding the varicose veins, i don't have them on my legs, but do further up-(you know what i mean), i had them with my 2nd pregnancy too tho, i've just put it down to the extra pressure and the stretching-sorry if too much info.

  • Hi jojo1978

Can't believe they don't stock the baskets in all Tesco stores.

What do you do to help with the veins. I have some support stockings but haven't worn them yet. I know the obvious thing is don't stand too long but that isn't always practical. Bit worried as I am only just over 17 weeks and am only going to get heavier so presume the veins will get worse and more painful.

  • The Huggies baskets are lovely though girls! I have ended up with 3 :o. I have only opened one so far but I've put all my the samples from Bounty bags and magazines in it ready for baby's arrival on Wednesdsay  (yeah, as if! :rotfl:).

    Congrats, Rince! :j

Wonder if my Asda was trying to get rid of them then? I couldn't find any during baby week but they were definitely £10 yesterday. Worth a try if you see one?

OH is telling me that if I go into labour whilst poorly at least it will take my mind off it - is that any comfort? No, not to me either!

I'm going for lots of comfort food at the moment

Ditto on the comfort food. Can't be good for either of us!

Take your mind of labour? What would achieve that? My worry is that labouring is easier with the right breathing techniques and atm any deep breath I try to take ends in a coughing fit. One bonus -ish is that it keeps waking baby up! So I know it's okay, although the movement is now rather uncomfortable.

And now I have backache. Pooey. I've had it waaaay too easy thus far...

PS - to any newly pregnant ladies, please do your pelvic floor exercises. I failed at mine and now every coughing fit... :o

baby's arrival on Wednesdsay  (yeah, as if! :rotfl:).
OMG I'd totally lost all sense of reality and didn't realise you're due next week! :T :j How exciting - good luck! ;)
  • I got the Tesco Huggies basket - I called and asked for the voucher and it came straight way. I love the baby's firsts book!

Last night my friend was over who's had two babies, she really reassured me that my pains were normal (I get more paranoid now because I've had a complication). Anyway I think feeling stressed has made it worse as today I've been much calmer and guess what? No pains!

Worse - the comfort in his words is supposed to be that labour will take my mind off of feeling poorly - because labour pains are preferable to this  Men!

Mmm, baby movements here are verging on painful at times. I do wonder if he might just burst out all of a sudden.

Pelvic floor exercises? Clench, clench, clench... that's all well and good until baby decides to squeeze bladder in a death grip.

And SB, I can't believe how quickly this has come around - make sure to check in daily from here on in, think of poor Ophie's carpets ;)
