 ohmygod im topm of the list!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
now if onyl someone could get that message to my squattor.........
i thought i was starting this morning i had a "leak" when i got up, but have had nothing since, except more of the shooting pains in lady bits.
midwife coming tomorro for sooty and sweep no 2, my induction date is next friday sarah, did i tell you that before? cant remember! when is yours?
today i am getting lots of washing done and some cleaning while hubby watches football. i have been cheeky and given MIL my ironing - she has rang three times this week to see if i need anything doing so thought why not
also i have de weeded my front garden - much to my neighbours horror i think! i just said i have sat on my bum waiting for baby all week so now im going to forget about it and get on with things maybe that will work
i am not feeling so fed up now, just more that i want to know everything is okay with baby. hubby is thinking what DVDs to take in with us as they have dvd players :rotfl: typical man eh
so me and sarah have 6/7 days left - anyone want to guess which day we will pop - if ever :rotfl:
im going to say sarah will pop on Tuesday
and i will be induced :mad:0 -
Hi Emma, I haven't got a date for induction
. The midwife said she would do another sweep next Wednesday and then discuss induction AFTER THAT!!! That is ages away. I literally have nothing to do, and I mean literally, the house is spotless, there is nothing to clean, I don't need to cook because OH suggested chinese tonight, my older daughters are away to their pals, my son is away watching a local game with OH. I am sooo bored and I HAVE NO CHOCOLATE. Not a drop of chocolate in this house!!!
If you had a leak this morning Emma that could be a sign, did you tell your midwife? I hope your second sweep does something. And in that case I think
you will drop MONDAY, and I will still be here next weekend waiting for an induction date. They took my signature away!!!!0 -
go get some chocolate - i cant cope without it :rotfl:
i havent told the MW will tell her tomoro, it only happened once and nothing since, ive had it happen b4, told to put pad in and if nothing in an hour then its not waters so i just followed the same advice
i am really nervous for tomorows sweep as i now know how it feels to have one..................................:o0 -
Hi Sarah and Emma! Wasn't sure you would still be around today! Maybe tonight will be the night! :j
If it helps I think I finally started contractions/labour when I actually forced myself to relax! I had spent so long stressing about one thing or another that my body probably thought I was too stressed to give birth......... Anyway I had a good heart to heart with the mw, dh and my mum about my worries. Mw reassured me that it was highly unlikely I would have any probs. So I got myself a Dvd, chocs, dh did all chores and I put my feet up for a relaxing evening.....At about 7.30 I told dh that if I didn't know any better I thought contractions had started. It took 2 more hours of 5min apart contractions to convince me it had started! I kept getting dh to time them cause I couldn't believe it! As you know ds arrived 5 hrs later!
So, put your feet up, relax and I bet you will have baby before you are 41 weeks, as mw told me 85% of people do!
Good luck and I'll check up on you in the morningThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Hi Rachel, how are you, how is the little man? Feeding and sleeping well?
I will take your advice, and put my feet up, see if that works. And if what your midwife says is right then I only have 3 days until I am 41 weeks  !
Here's hoping.
Emma, I have texted OH to bring in chocolate and he replied saying I've got it already for you. Awwww he know his place :rotfl: .
I know how you feel about the sweep aswell, although if nothing has happened by Wednesday I am still keen to give it another go, urgh the loss of dignity again!!They took my signature away!!!!0 -
Hi Sarah, I'm well thanks. Ds is just sooooo gorgeous, can't take my eyes off him! He sleeps nearly all day and wants to be fed all night lol. And I couldn't care less, loving every minute!
Your OH sounds like an absolute angel! I thought the chocolate craving was a pregnancy thing but I am still craving like mad. I even had galaxy and diet coke for breakfast lol.
The loss of dignity is great isn't it after a while though you just don't careand it's sooo worth it in the end. Though I don't even want to remember how undignified the birth was!!!!!!!! Thank God for Gas and Air and Pethidine to smooth off the edges. :rotfl:

Rachel I'm soo happy for you, he sounds delightful. I can't wait now to be holding my little baby, and trust me, during the labour I intend to demand all the drugs I can lol!!! And yeah OH has been really great over the past couple of weeks, he is really excited now aswell.
I was talking about the loss of dignity with OH and then remembered by the time I had delivered my son I was stark naked and couldn't have cared less who saw :rotfl:They took my signature away!!!!0 -
I am 41 weeks tomorrow

I've got tons of washing and ironing to do, the house is a tip, and there's a million and one things that need doing. Most importantly, of course, I need to catch up on MSE!And the little man is stirring, so it'll be feeding time soon.
Seriously though, hope your little bundle of joy and Emma's will be here soon.*fingers crossed*

Ditto!
The club's quiet this evening - hope that means Emma and Sarah are both busy having babies! What are the odds on them both giving birth on the same day!
