heya. i was on last week in the great stress of finding out i was pregnant having been i n a car crash two weeks ago. i have now calmed down slightly but they sending me for a scan tomorrow i will be 7 weeks pregnant exactly. they said not to worry if they dont see a heartbeat as it might be too soon. waht do u guys think?? i figure if anything had happened as a result of car crash it would have happened by now.

Congratulations Rachel! Sounds normal to me, spending precious sleepy time just staring at baby... You can sleep in a few years' time, so don't waste baby's first everythings...

Hi Shelvis - I was told right back at booking in to always take a sample - I always forget so end up getting a little jar off the receptionist and do the deed in the toilets there...never have any problems producing lol! So I guess that answers your second question also - never been told a fresh one was no good.

Hello and congrats also sarahh112 I am also on my second with a ten year gap - wierd how different it seems though...I've only seen my midwife a few times this time round, in fact she rang me to arrange to come round recently and I had no idea who she was!
