me too, was awake much more than i was asleep thats for sure,
and after i had a little sleep i made the mistake of rolling over and stretching my legs out, pointing my toes.... f*cking OWWW! by the way....
cramp is a killer anyway, but when your desperate to scream like your being murdered but at the same time trying to keep quiet to avoid waking up the whole house, well... that just sucks,
so, i may do a little cleaning today, mostly washing i think
but apart from swimming lessons later (her not me)
i think most of the day will be spent savouring the last day of summer holidays, looking forward to tomorrow when school starts again and its also the day that DDs dad gets home from work (he works offshore for weeks at a time) and that means not only will i get a break while she is back at school (and god do i need it!) but he will have her over night a lot to make up for the fact its just been me and her for most of the holidays (and im not exactly at my most mobile at the moment! lol)0 -
Checking in :rotfl: again!!
I'm still here, not much to do today, washing and a bit hoovering, just checked bank and tax credits have given us some money back, its an underpayment, wow, never had one of them before so off to pay some bills and baby can start life without two worrying parents!!!They took my signature away!!!!0 -
I have never 'liked' children, never wanted to hold other peoples babies, never gone ga ga over pictures and really not interested in what so-and-so did today and I don't care how 'funny' it was. Too busy wrapped up in my own life, thankyouverymuch, focussed on my job and pub-life, money was for clothes, eating out, music.
Just woke up one day with a weird feeling that none of that mattered any more
But no one around me expected this and most have asked (as polite as they can manage) if it was a mistake. I think my mother is still surprised as she was convinced she wouldn't have any grandchildren - well, for a while, so was I, I suppose.
Oh! And well done on the weight loss :T
DITTO DITTO DITTO :T Even now if there was a puppy in the room or a baby I would make a huge fuss over the puppy and avoid the baby at all costs! Yet I can't wait until I have my own baby - I just don't feel maternal towards other peoples babies:A I can fly :A0 -
I'm the same! I have three children who I love to bits and am due another one in 8 days. I absolutely adore my children but cannot get goo goo over anybody elses???They took my signature away!!!!0

Okay, worried here.
I have a midwife appointment this afternoon, hence not calling doctors as yet. On Saturday I was fine until I sat down and noticed my sight had gone funny - like when you look at the sun and then have a sunspot wherever you look. Except this was affecting half my field of vision and lasted about two hours. Add to that feeling really odd, and my arm and face going numb! and I was soooo close to calling an ambulance... or something... I have no idea where to go in emergencies...
And today I got up and ready to go do stuff, buy tiles, shout at MFI, walk the dog... tried walking down the stairs twice and ended back in bed both times waiting for the funny feeling, including palpitations to stop. Now I'm just gonna stay here and wait for my appointment.
At least the baby is still moving, but I do not feel well...
I can't afford not to be well just now! And definitely cannot afford to be having the baby yet! (I'm blaming my symptoms on blood pressure, as cannot find my monitor to rule that out).
I'm guessing it will pass, as it did on saturday, and I was perfectly fine yesterday... it's just all the stress!
I think I'll pack my hospital bag later... one less thing to worry about...:wall:0 -
Agutka you sound like i did re the numbness and vision - midwife said i had a viral infection and then it also turned out i was anaemic too.
are you taking any iron supplements?
there was nothing i could do except rest.
the symptoms were also similar to having problems with Bp but mine was fine
hope you feel better soon x0
