look slike baby going to be oldest in school year rather than youngest now! I hope i pop soon i am too big now !
have a good day everyone xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Not a bad thing! Without trying to generalise the older children in the year tend to find school easier and pick up things more quickly - the six "top group" children in my class last year were also the six oldest. Not that that always holds - every child is different (and my July born DS is doing great at school!! - though my december born DD did seem more ready to start school). We tried to plan for September / October this time - no such luck, but January will do!!

How are the Early September's doing ?

Helpless Cook and CG, yeah what are 24 hours (less than a typical first labour ?), but if anyone else wants to jump ahead, I reserve the right to review how important those 24 hours are.:D

My birthing ball came today. I am so chuffed. Picked it up off of ebay for £4.49 inc postages, so true MSE style. I have had to send the children to bed to get onto it though.

Pity the birthing pools don't come so cheap - £245 for five weeks, including transportation. I am waiting for an email back, confirming availability. Now before anyone jumps down my throat, it is a hired pool, that is also heated, as I don't want DH to spend my whole labour running backwards and forwards with a kettle. I am concerned as to what the weather is going to be like when the clocks go back (less than two months of summertime  ).

Otherwise I am okayish. Got a bit of a cough, which is annoying, and I have discovered that I probably left it too late for the pelvic floor clench clenches, but the thing that is really bugging me is the nausea that bubbles up whenever I lie down. It is exhausting trying to get to sleep.

Hope those who want to pop soon, do, and for those of us, who need to bake our babies a bit more, happy baking !
  • izoomzoom where are you hiring yours from? I need to get this sorted out asap, don't know where the time is going.

The house move is definitely going ahead now, which is a huge relief as this week has been incredibly stressful, I know moving isn't exactly going to be a piece of cake but we wouldn't be doing it if we didn't think we'll be better off in the long run. I'm just praying nothing goes wrong or I'm hiding under the duvet until someone else fixes it for a change.

Had my 34 week check yesterday and my midwife says I have SPD - I thought the pain I've been having, and the pain from SPD were in two different places, shows what I know, it's really on and off as to how severe it is but today stairs have been bloody hard work. Hopefully resting (not moved far from bed today) will buy me some time out of the house tomorrow.

CG - hoovering the CEILING? Please come and nest for me :D I got the hoover out yesterday and got as far as plugging it in. Then stopped.

I'm aiming to get some baby clothes washed and dried this week, and get my labour bag ready, anything else will be a bonus.

Still feeling really low, lonely - hormones? Anyone else?

Anxieties? hell yes! I am 36 years old and a bit overweight so I suspect my odds are not the best they could be. My DH and I have only been trying for a month and oh boy had I forgotten what "real" periods felt like!!!! But I have to keep myself in check and realise that its very early days and I should just relax and enjoy the whole TTC experience.

Don't despair... I'm now half way to being 41 and having my first. Took us 9 months TTC after I had my coil removed, and depends a lot on how long you've been on the pill or whatever. All those hormones build up in your system and take a while to be flushed out! Anyway, after all those months of looking after things, it took a weekend away in London and a few G&Ts where I just thought "sod it". Lo and behold, 2 weeks later a BFP and the panic set in
  • come on girls....its time for the daily roll call

Thanks for the support dougggie, and congratulations on your promotion to the EDD list :p Its early days for me in the TTC game, so I am just trying not to get too obsessed with charting! I think my cycle is all over the show at the moment, but thats probably being on the pill for many years. I think I am just going to try and enjoy the experience:D
