I did manage a bit more sleep, tho it didn't feel long before my darling offspring were jumping all over my bed:rolleyes:

DS seems much better, just very snotty and whiny, thanks for asking.

Yes we did go to Before the Stork - I loved it but DH is still unimpressed - thinks they look creepy and didn't hesitate to tell them - can't take him anywhere, he's worse than the kids:D

I've e-mailed the pics to everyone and my uncle actually said that the baby has a look of me on one of them, my MIL said the same thing at the scan - poor child's got my nose:rotfl:

MissPink - hope you have a better day at work today. Yay it's Friday anyway so you only have a few more hours left of her. Know exactly how you feel. Three close friends have recently had babies so they all get together during the day while I'm at work and I feel soooo jealous of their little bundles. We too haven't told anyone we're TTC which makes it hard when they all pass comment about "Oooooh, you'll be next?" Grrrr! My SIS announced last weekend that she's (just) pregnant again. I felt so guilty as I had been daydreaming about how I would break the news to my parents if I ever got pregnant...and now she's beaten me to it and I felt really angry with her. THEN I thought if I get pregnant in a few months she will think I've been copying her! Now I'm really happy for her and my brother and feel silly for having those thoughts

Thanks Boobylou.... Nice to find someone in the same age range and position as me... although I do have a 11 yr old...
You have been trying for as long as I have, and it is so scary not to have other women to discuss the worries with!
Goes to show you though.. I was on the pill for years and worried if I forgot to take it... now I've been off it for a while and nothing's happenin!
I'm trying to not make getting pregnant the be all and end all of everything, but it's flippin hard...how you finding it?
I find myself watching TV programmes on babies and child birth, which is not condusive... and my OH keeps bringin up names he likes for a girl... !

i had some pains last nigth im presuming they were BH it was like a very painful stitch all accross my bump and my bump was rock hard ? still waiting the real thing though :rolleyes:
my stretchmarks are really getting me down now they just mulitiply daily does bio oil work? i have been using palmers and no joy!:o

miss_pink, it always seems that when you are TTC every woman and her dog appears pregnant! And YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED to feel like a failure!!! :mad:. Everyone is so supportive here and we all wish you the best of luck xxx

No I'm still here emma_b. Still waiting....and waiting....no sign of Sarah though! I hope I don't go way over my dates. Was talking to a couple of friends, one went 12 days and another 18!! :eek:

I feel loads better today and I have decided to be more positive. I gave my work mate a couple of books I had and told her to read them for day to day stories and advice. She seemed so grateful. We have been talking all morning about her pregnancy and surfing the web together looking at baby things which I am loving. Iv told her that we are "thinking about trying" soon ourselves and she said we can have all her baby stuff when she's finished with it. (result!!)

So all in all its been a fab end to a rubbish week lol.
