Hello there- I'm more of a reader than a poster, but had a great time reading all the pregnancy and parenting stories when I was expecting...SO just to add my news :

My gorgeous boy,Freddie Luke Holloway was born on 17th April at 3.39 pm, weighing 7lb 13. We had a bit of a shaky start as he had to have light therapy for jaundice and wasn't feeding too well, but he is now going great guns and is growing and putting on a bit of weight.
Best of luck to all mums to be and congrats to all those who have recently received a special delivery!

i ended up having a c-section with my son in feb 2005 due to his heart rate going down everytime i had a contraction so was wondering what my options would be with this new bundle of joy due in jan 2008?

our hospital has special advice sessions for women who had a csection first time but would like a vaginal birth - as long as the reason you had a section wasn't because of your anatomy then there's all liklihood that you'd be able to have a vbirth this time. It's one of the questions to ask the midwife when you see her.

The only analogy I can think of is a fish flipping in my belly!?! Is this what I should be feeling? Its completely different to the little flutters I have been having for the last few weeks.

PS: I'm a vegetarian by the way so I haven't accidently swallowed a fish :rotfl:

yep sounds about right - I still wasn't sure if it was gas for the first week or so but now there's no mistaking it! :rotfl:

That's exactly how mine felt at your stage - like someone was twanging a string (I thought) from the inside! Now it's definitely a big kick or baby turning over etc! Congratulations!
