Usually i love the summer hols and having them at home all day, but this is slowly knackering me!!!!!!!!!Mortgage free 04/03/2025. Thanks to this site and lots of overpayments bit by bit.

Hi ladies,
Just want youradvice.:o
My OH and I have been TTC for a while now and have tried lots of different things, the latest being "pre seed" but I saw online that acupunture can help.
I never had acupunture so was just wondering if anyone knows anything about it or used it to aid conceiving?
let me know xxxx:dance:When Life Hands You Lemons...Ask For A Bottle Of Tequila

Hiya Ladies, Dads and bumps
Feel like I have been away for ages, and what a lot of activity. We went off on hols for a week, but it has taken me 4 days since then to get back on here.
We had goodish time. We were camping, and I was 27 odd weeks, so not the most mobile of people, but we got to see lots of sights and did manage a few times on the beach - although I wasn't brave enough to get anything more than my toes wet. Worst was the gale force winds, but we took down the wind breaker (now what is that suppose to be for?) and gazebo and put extra stays on the tent, and it survived. Thank goodness the children slept through and the noise was quite scary !
Waiting for me when I got back was another prescription for iron tablets. I had my bloods taken just before we left, so I am obviously anaemic, but when we saw the MW on Monday, she said I was very anaemic. Great ! At least I understand why I feel shattered !
Anyway, I am back on the iron tablets, and I am making an extra effort to eat lots of red meat, green veg, dried apricots and drinking lots of orange juice as vit c helps you to absorb iron !
I read through all the posts, to see what had happened, and was going to do individual congrats to everyone, but my little square of paper was not big enough. Would you believe that in the last 13 days we have had 14 pregnancies / deliveries / pending adoptions. My special congratulations to you all.0 -

Well I was told in January this year that I would be unlikey to concieve naturally and I had an appointment to star IVF on 12th June. I have only 1 ovary and tue left because I had a huge 15lb ovarian cyst on my other ovary which crushed it to death so it had to come out. Then I got a tumour (benign) on my left ovary so that was removed and the ovary was repaired. My ovary and tube were stuck with scar tissue to my bowel in a position that made it unlikely my eggs would go down my tubes.
I had acupunture about 5 times and concieved naturally in April. I can't say it was definately this that helped but it certainly seems that way! Seems to have aligned something!
I am now 20 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby boy.
Good luck with whatever you do try and I do honestly think the key is to relax. Perhaps me knowing I 'couldn't' concieve took the pressure off and allowed it to happen? Who knows. Either way I couldn't be happier :j0 -
we have been sorting out babys room today, and quickly put up DDs cot to make sure it was still alright (it is! i knew i wasnt mad saving it for all this time! lol) had to take it down again because we havent decorated yet... but it was lovely to see it up!
so of course we need a new cot mattress (and a pram mattress for a proper 3 in 1 carry cot)
any ideas for the best deals? where did you get yours?
I hate just blindly handing over my money to mothercare... they are so over priced
congrats Dollop :T0
