okay so i am 38 weeks and have just cleaned my house top to bottom including all the jobs i never do - like the tops of kitchen shelves
im hoping its nesting cos i cant be a*sed to do it all over again!!0 -
I dont get that nesting instinct... it never kicked in when i was having my DD and I really dont have the energy to clean madly this time either...
Any of you nesters fancy popping round mine with your dusters?
I have good biscuits0 -

i have been keeping house clean anyway through mat leave but this morning i have done the jobs like changing bed, cleaning windows (hardly ever gets done tbh) and some sorting jobs that have needed doing
i wont be doing it again though now i am shattered and very very hot
i have also finished the packing of my hospital bag :T
i am sooo fed up and ready to go now, i keep getting crampy and back achey (but no pattern to it) and every time im thinking "???" and its doing my head in! i hope i dont go over i will go insane0 -

Emma, I feel the same, my house is so spotless you could eat your dinner off the floor! And every night is the same, I get loads of braxton hicks, eventually fall asleep and damn it I'm still pregnant in the morning!! The trampoline in the back garden is becoming very very tempting, not sure what my kids would think though!!They took my signature away!!!!0 -
i have an excercise/birthing ball might have a bounce on that! i am tired of cleaning now i might just go watch tv with rasperry leaf tea and a box of maltesers!0

My step sister had a birthing ball and it certainly helped. She went into labour the day after she was due after sitting on it all night!! Why not sit on it while you have your maltesers and tea................ then again maybe not lol, you'll end up cleaning again!!!They took my signature away!!!!0 -
i have foudn it really good for sitting on when i have back ache - and hubby uses it as a foot rest when im not on it! they are only about 4 pounds in tesco, mine was free from MIL so even more MSE
gld im not the only one feeling ready and fed up- everyone says "baby will be here when the time is right" hmm i KNOW that but still its a pain waiting! also im a real "planner" so the not knowing just annoys me
anyway rant over
im gonna have a bath and sit in my spotless house !
have a good afternoon hun and try not to worry too much (other post) you can always change your mind about where you want to labour, do what you want to do and what makes you feel happy andmore relaxed . im so hoping to use the birthing pool0 -
That's some nesting instinct Emma! I thought mine had started too, but only got as far as cleaning a few shelves in the fridge, loads of washing and half heartedly packing hosp bag. Had mw appointment today, bp up high again unfortunately and she had to check it twice and go back on sat. Found protein for third time running too. On the upside, after mentioning I had false contractions for about an hour this morning and a bit of leakage (tmi!) she thinks baby might come soon!!! Fingers crossed. Then got told off as hosp bag should really be sorted by now. 38weeks and counting! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Fancy joining the race between me and Emma B lol, although its looking like you might be first!! Good luck. They took my signature away!!!!0 -
When are you due Sarah? I'm officially due on the 6th but was the 9th by my own dates!! Not long eh! Do you know what you're having? I'm lucky and having a boy as already have a beautiful dd. Either would be good but lovely to have one of each! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
