Is it a baby your adopting? or an older child?
I think its fantastic you can give someone a home and a family, good on you...
its something i think i would like to do in a few years (LOVE babies and children... gone right off actually being pregnant! lol)

Claire, you're going to have a baby SOON!!! :j I know you have known that for a whole 9 months but somehow I don't think it will really hit home for me until I have that baby in my arms ! Very best of luck for tomorrow and hope to hear the good news soon x

I can't believe the birth rate on here over the last couple of weeks - you're all making me very impatient (despite hoping to be overdue in current circumstances)...

Thank you all for the welcome.

My little girl is still a baby, she is 18 months, but she is the height of a 10mth old baby and the weight of a 5mth old. Scary times, I'm getting one with a fully formed attitude (god help me). I still get to buy 3-6mth baby clothes!!

I get the joy of a baby without the backache, bladder weakness and aches. But will still get the sleepless nights, financial implications and clothes worries!!

h all baby dollops arrived at 3.45am yesterday morning,he even beat the midwife lol,midwife foned me up to ask where my house was and to send my fellow outside whilst there she asked him to help her in with her n stuff and low and behold by the time they got back in baby dollops has arrived lol,very short labour,superficial cut but boy do i have a sore !!! with loads of piles lmao grose but true lol,congrats to dormouse and anyone else whos delivered, xxxxxxxx you know that film return of the zombies?thats what i feel like now lmao,anyhow catch yous later xxxxxxxxxxxx

I know you're all very excited, but STOP MOVING ME UP THE LIST!!!

I am not ready!!

I am sat here trying to understand which boiler we need, which tiles to get, how to get cheaper carpets and taps. I am not sat here getting mentally ready for birth or baby. My SIL asked if I at least had my hospital bag packed. :rotfl: I don't even know where we keep bags atm! Let alone all the stuff I've accumulated. Except the pate. I definitely know where that is .

Right I'm taking dog out, the banging downstairs is giving me a headache.

I'm 27 ks pregnant and so fed up with my other 2 kids (can't wait till school starts and i start mat leave)
