  • Oooh, busy day! Congratulations Dormouse! :T Looking forward to the story and pics - I'm also hoping for a water birth so would love to know how you found it.

Agutka - actually I thought, if you can go through all of that with your house, then maybe moving isn't so bad! It's not hormones - I hate it here and we knew quite soon after moving that we'd made a big mistake. So I'm telling myself that as long as we stay positive, and remember why we are doing this, it might not be so bad after all?

It might throw my home birth plan into doubt though, but I'm relying on being overdue which might make it still possible...

Well, then GO FOR IT! Quickly... I mean, how bad can it be?

    Aaaah. Hmmm.
This might be a problem. Although months of misery in a house you hate, versus possible hospital birth (just one day). Easy choice. Besides, 'they' may still let you.

Yes, get packing. You've got ages till week 37, and the actual moving will be just a day. Just be organised and have baby stuff ready and your 'hospital' bag and all other essentials (which for me includes a meat tenderiser  - really needed one last night to cook our last meal on the old cooker, bless) handy and definitely have people on standby to do your bidding.
We'll be expecting you back on the forum end of September then. Good luck!

Well, the first hurdle is to find somewhere to move into :rotfl:

Baby stuff - I knew there was something I'd forgotten ;)
  • Can't believe you beat me dormouse, so not fair! But congratulations! Wonder how dollop is doing?!

Well my waters broke this morning, Midwife told me to come into hospital for check up, has checked me over and confirmed it but I was only 1cm dilated so back at home at the moment. If baby doesn't arrive by midday tomorrow naturally then I'm being induced! Tonight is gonna be fun then....
