Just catching up with the thread... Congratulations to Valentine, Justie and Saver_Sam! :T

And as you can see, I've got news of my own. Alex was born yesterday, after about 12 hours of established labour (and an unmentionable number of hours of on/off contractions :eek:). It was a waterbirth, which was a great experience. :T He was 8lb 3 oz and is a spitting image of his big brother. :happyhear

Will post the whole story and a pic later - take care, everyone.

Congratulations to all the new parents, love it when you find a moment to fill us in. I love how Justie just sneaked her news in.

Fac, are you really unhappy where you are, or is it just hormones talking? As long as your new place is ready for you just to move in, and you get plenty of help (as in you touch nothing) then you might be okay. Assuming baby is aiming for the same dates you are of course. But then, what's another bit of upheaval in these scary times?
I have six weeks till EDD and nowhere near ready for baby. If he came along now, or in the next three weeks, I'd have to take the moses basket and stay with my parents or something :eek:. I had to give a load of baby clothes to Mother, so she could wash and iron them for me, I'll never get round to it at this rate. Getting very worried, but of course I have tiles to choose, so too busy to think much.

Lack of appointments in pregnancy? I've seen the midwife... twice so far. next chance at 36 weeks. And that is normal. Guess I should be glad there's nothing wrong with me. Can't believe I'm 34 weeks already. The time is suddenly flying by. Scared.

Congrats to all you brand new parents!! Hope everything is going well and you are managing at least SOME rest!

I had my 20 week scan today! Baby was being very naughty and sitting with crossed legs so ultrasound man had a hell of a job finding out the sex hee hee. Eventually he did though and we are having.......a little baby boy!!! We have no names yet and until we do we are calling it Elvis (it's due on 8th Jan which is his birthday).

Dunno if this will work but here is my scan - looks like he is boxing to me!
