Is everybody about to give birth? Feeling really left out as I am only 13 weeks.

But already i am remember the pain of childbirth!!!!! I remember saying last time 'never again', but here i am pregnant again.

Been having a good clear out, going to do a car boot to try to make room for the new baby. kids have been great at clearing out their toys - but why does everywhere still feel cluttered!!

Definitely remember all the cleaning before my last 2 were born. I constantly cleaned every day until they were born, one was 9 days late and the other 11 days so i did a lot of cleaning. unfortunately when i was in hospital for 2 days having the last baby and came home and my husband looked after the 2 oldest, it was like i had never bothered!

I remember when I first joined this thread and feeling so jealous of all those ready to pop and now, as quick as a flash, I'm *nearly* one of them!!! :eek:.

Emma, I have the same impatience gene as you and I have 5 whole weeks left! :rolleyes:

3Kids, this should be like shelling peas for you! :rotfl:I've often wondered is it better to go into birth an innocent newbie and not know what you're letting yourself in for or is it better to know so you can prepare yourself for whats to come?!? :cool:

Anyways, just found out that I'm having a *secret* Baby Shower next week!!! :jOh, I am so excited at the thought of cute baby clothes and cupcakes! .

Emma B - it is highly unlikely they would give me a membrane sweep before my due date so no such luck there lol.

Septemberbaby - definitely better to be naive about what childbirth involves. KNowing what's to come just makes it scarier.

Plus the after having three other children, i have already got stretchmarks, varicose veinsand a flabby tummy. The joys.

3KIDS, NO MONEY, nope I've got ages to go too. I'm almost 18 weeks. Not wishing pregnancy away just yet but am wishing I was on maternity leave (I'm just lazy, i think!!). I "forgot" in betwen pregnancy one and two what labour was like, and when the contractions started I remember saying to my Mum "Nooooo, I don't want to do this again, I'm not going to hospital". Luckily she wasn't mentally unhinged like I was and made me go, reasoning that the baby was going to come whether I went to hospital or not! This time I have had twice as long to forget (9 years) so think it might all come as a shock again!
