    Removing should be as simple as removing you from that usergroup, if being done that way.

    Well, you've heard what we think. But haven't mentioned changing it.

    * Many don't want 'badges' at all.
    * Some who don't mind them can't see the point in these 'number of posts' badges anyway.
    * If you have 1,000 posts, you only need one badge, you don't also need one for each 'step', ie 1, 10, 100 etc.
    * As the number of posts is already shown under your username, the badges are actually less informative than the real figure, eg 5,250.

    It's not so much about responding to the opinion of the audience, but explaining to them what you intend to do.

    Well apparently my badge has been removed as I requested, but the marg lids are still being tested.
    The odd thing is I have never had any badges so not sure what was removed, although the 500 marg lid has vanished.
