It seems to have changed now, i.e. no blocking.0

And I really mean that, I'm not being patronising. We really do want to hear what you think because these are the kind of thing we want to do to make MoneySaving fun where you might not think it is.
And when I say "you" I'm talking about all MSErs, whether that's the handful that post on here regularly, the 1.4m members or the roughly 10m who get the weekly email and, hopefully, click through to read the Forum.
Well, notwithstanding that you want to make things fun, those post count stickers are indecipherable and thus just wasting space - as I said the only way to figure them out is open the image in a separate tab and read the URL.
That certainly does not mean I suggest make them bigger.
The old forum version has the medals/rosettes just below the username, and the new seems to have various-sized constellations of stars in the same place. Surely this is sufficient.0 -

I haven't had any PMs about this thread so I'm not sure who you messaged. MSE Megan is on annual leave so If you PM'd her you won't get a reply at the moment.
It's always best to message Zorica, Megan and me so all of us get it

It's been tested with a group of existing members, not all. If you're one of the users who have it on your sidebar, this isn't the final version, we'll be tweaking over the next couple of weeks.
Thanks for all your comments, they really are appreciated!
And thank you to the person who PM'd me asking why they didn't have it!
I think the various new post count badges should be different colours ... they look rather bland and pointless at the moment all looking the same ... not that I've been given any.
And whilst on the subject of 'badges' the gap in posting history between receiving the Gold Medal and receiving the 5 Red Medals seems ludicrously large. This needs a rethink IMHO with possibly some extra medals in between.... Several badges make no sense at all. If one has, say, 1000 badge, there is absolutely no point in littering the space with 1, 10 and 100.
"1" is absolutely pointless on its own.
That said, I agree with others that these badges make no sense if used along with the posts counter, and I don't want them to replace the counter at some point.0 -
If these new badges were to mean anything they should link to the actual post they refer to ie, the members first post or their 10th, 100th, 10,000th etc.0

Well the horrid, pointless things are still there and still no response from the mods to my messageWWSD(what would Scooby Doo)0

Let me make this clear to the MSE staff who insist on tinkering to justify their jobs.
I do not want any badges, let alone these stupid new ones.
Perhaps having the option to remove them in the settings would be a good ideaWWSD(what would Scooby Doo)0 -

The original badges are added manually (because you have to 'nudge' MSE staff to get them!) but these butter dish badges seem to be automatically awarded on those chosen few. Therefore I'm not sure, if they are going ahead, that the butter dish badges can be removed from an individual poster.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls
