    ROFL!!:rotfl:You're a cynical lot aren't you?!
I've tried to post images of the WBAC invoice and a pic of the car, but as I'm a new user, the site won't let me.
Cue for hollow laughter all round....

I have used them once, and I knew what I was in for... I don't see the issue in using them if you are accurate in your description, and you only accept their original offer. If you said your car was in pristine condition when it's got dents all over it, obviously they will reduce the price down a LOT, that is how they make a bigger markup (£££). You can either accept it, or walk away and sell it on autotrader as everyone did a few years ago, I don't see why people hate on this company, they aren't holding a knife to your neck.

If they start picking out non existent faults then just walk away as I did, they will soon correct their report and hand over the cash.

I am happy to help GKP1. They have sent me a copy and I am happy to back up their claim.

Thanks worried jim. As I said above, I was as sceptical as most who have posted here. I was pleasantly surprised. (I know this sounds like an ad for WBAC!)
I can't fault their service - the buyer even rung me this morning to check that I'd received the BACS payment. Actually, I have only one complaint - the buyer was clearly suffering from a heavy cold and his office was lacking ventilation. Guess what, a couple of days later I came down with it and have been walking around in abject misery since then.:mad::mad:

I'm not cynical i'm just jealous.
I wonder why the people who get the best bargains from companies with bad reputations and then come on here to say it's a wonderful firm, are nearly all Newies.
Why would anyone go to the trouble of joining a Forum just to promote a company, unless of course you worked there and are getting paid on commission.

    P.S.
Can you give me a price for my 05 reg Fiesta.

Simples: I benefitted from reading all the posters here - I was going into the WBAC appointment prepared for the worst. I very rarely write any reviews - only when something particularly good or bad happens. In the latter category, I bought some perfume from a site called essence-store.com. It turned out to be fake, and I did my best to spread this information on the web. As regards WBAC, there has been a lot of negativity on this board. If the people who have positive experiences never bother to post, then the discussion would be negative biased. I promised the WBAC buyer I would write a review and yes, I registered with MoneySavingExpert specifically to do this. If you want to read anything into this, that's up to you :p
As for working for them or getting a commission - ROFLMAO ! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
And no, I can't offer a price on your Fiesta!!!!!

Well GKP1 i think you've been very lucky to come out a winner.
This thread has almost 200 posts but the amount of people who have written a good review of WBAC can probably be counted on the fingers of one hand,
I'm pleased you did well out of them.

Maybe I have been lucky. I do think that discussions like this tend to be negative biased, simply because people are more likely to post if they've had a bad experience. It must be pretty galling for WBAC, so I was just doing my bit to restore some balance.
I take it you're not happy with their quote on your Fiesta?! The used car market is a jungle at the best of times......

My car is sitting in the garage, it's hardly getting used at the moment and i've wondered if it's worth keeping when my mileage is so low and, the shops are within walking distance and both buses/trains are nearby When i've seen the WBAC on Tv i have thought about phoning, but there are so many reports like this one, and i can't help but think 'they can't all be wrong'

Well if you get a valuation and go along prepared to negotiate and walk away if you don't like what's being offered, it really is a case of what have you got to lose? My father-in-law was quoted something like £300 on his 10+ year old Nissan Micra - a bit of a joke really......
