Do the John Frieda £1.50 work against the 99p sachets of frizz serum and can you use say three vouchers for three sachets in one shop.0 -
Yes they do work. both the 99p and 1.49 ones0

Has anyone tried one sachet but used three coupons? Or bought one Tesco toothpaste and used more than one Colgate 40p coupon?

does anyone know what the letter from Tesco head office is all about yet that Leadhead mentioned?

oh and i accidentally handed over 5 jf coupons when only bought 4 sachets and the till would not accept the 5th one.0 -
Just back from Mr T's (and Boots. I'm afraid I'm addicted to both!)
Went to a guy on the till who had served me before. He doesn't like taking too many vouchers, but everyone else working the tills today looked in a bad mood (miserable bunch, LOL) so I didn't really have another option - could've paid at self-scan though, but didn't think about it at the time! I bought approx 11.00 worth of toiliteries, including a hair dye (getting bored with shampoo and shower gel) it wasn't on bogof, but it is something I need - as opposed to something I don't need, but is free! I handed over 1x1.25 1x1.00 and 1x2.50 (h&b and quit) and 1.00 mag voucher + 2x50points. I actually thought I was handing over another 1.00 h&b voucher not a another points voucher, but got into a muddle (this is not the first time I've done this as they look the same to me when I'm fumbling in my purse)
After the guy served me, he called over the supervisor. I noticed he had not put my vouchers in the till. He started flicking through the vouchers and called out again for the supervisor with some urgency. I wasn't sure If I should hang around and listen to what he had to say to her or whether to leg it...I chose the latter!
I am so scared to go back in there, but I've nowhere else to go. It is the only Tesco (a small one at that!) for miles. Am I being paranoid or do you think I have something to worry about? I wish I had not used my clubcard now.0 -

I've only been couponing with intent in Tesco for a couple of weeks or so, but I can see how it could take over if you let it. I've spent far more time in there recently than I would normally do, but I'm concious that the H&B and So Beautiful will expire soon, so am making the most of the savings I can get now. Once they've expired I expect to spend less time there again.. its not like Tesco is somewhere anyone in their right mind would choose to spend time without good reason.

As others have said, its been nice to buy better/more expensive brands of some items, instead of cheaper options. The Garnier Omega Serum, etc has been on offer, so with the coupons I have I could justify treating myself. The same applies with treating myself to some perfume, which I wouldn't have done otherwise.
The Toiletry things I've bought will gradually get used up, so it is a genuine saving over time. I hope the new BOGOFS due next week will provide a chance to stock up on a few more essentials while the H&B coupons can still be combined with the Quit Packs... my only problem being where I will store it, as every available space is taken up.
My husband likes the savings, but doesn't really want to know/be involved any more than that.. I think he's torn between being proud of me for saving us so much money, and thinking I'm mad and/or obsessed :rotfl:So your answer don’t be scared of failure
For the only failure is never to try
