I only registered today in defence of another person because I think it is very unfair that someone can say such lies. I have said I am the seller on ebay and I am not welshy so, dude drop it, before you have your posting privileges removed.

I messed up tonight and feel stupid now!

I went to my local Tesco for a browse as I wanted to try the new Uncut voucher that you can print out, to see if it works.

remembering someones post on here or Pts about things to buy for a carboot, I bought 4x Lynx and 4x Macleans whitening toothpaste. I also bought 2 sets of over 50 vitamins in case they prove popular, (and no I am not over 50 before you ask, cheek!) as I intend doing a carboot sometime soon.

I thought I would be clever and add 4 of the basic showergel which scans at 13p to the Lynx shop and then use the Sb 70p voucher on it so a nice profit

This particular Tesco isn't as voucher friendly as the other one I frequent so I was trying to maximise the savings on my shopping via the Hb/Sb/Quit vouchers in case I couldn't use any moc's.

I know I should make a list before I go but I never do, I just chuck anything in the trolley that takes my fancy so not being mathematically minded, I had no idea what the Lynx came to and what profit I would have after using numerous vouchers.

I realised that I might have a profit on the Macleans as I could use the 40p Colgate voucher x4 as well as the normal Hb/Sb/quits etc but I only had four 40p ones on me to share between both shops (originally intended to use 2 on each shop) so I had to mess about with the coupons while in the aisles, (trying not to look like a shoplifter). I also was trying to work out the profit on the Lynx after buying the 4x 13p shower gels using 4x70p vouchers on the other shop to even things out (brain fried).

Did it work out like that? did it bu**ery!

I was quite flustered at the tills as it was a new girl I hadn't seen before so I ended up giving her the bundle with the shower gel vouchers in, for the Macleans toothpaste shop and the bundle with the toothpaste vouchers but no shower gel vouchers, in for the showergel shop, arggg!

I still did ok though as the first shop which was £21 came down to £1.16 and the second shop which was £16 came down to £3.38

she was great actually and scanned loads of Moc's for me, only stipulation was they had to be all different, no problem as I always carry a multitude of different ones wherever I go

Oh, and the Uncut voucher wouldn't scan on the machine but did scan perfectly with her little gun, so go and print some off!

also taking the leaflets and selling them on could get you the sack so i would shut up about that.

well done ragtimeplayer on your shopping, that sounds like me sometimes its abit hit and miss with my vouchering. I am going to sit down tomorrow with my general mocs and get a pile of them ready. My local store takes individual/unique mocs with no probs. I now have 8 h&b vouchers to use so quite excited about that and will probably get some razors

Am I correct in thinking that the 70p Palmolive on the So beautifuls is scanning with Tesco own brand shower gels?

Waaah I can't join the coupon frenzy as my local store hasn't got any in, despite me checking every day since the H&Bs came out *insert stamping feet smilie* :rolleyes:

my store hasn't got any either - but I was sent 8 of them through the post so I can finally join the h&b party tomorrow. My store still has the quits out so hasn't caught up yet !

Perhaps next time you "get them before everyone else" you'll inform the wider community so that we can all start looking for them nice and early. After all it won't affect you if the rest of us get a head start as you'll already have your supply. You obviously check the forum regularly to have come in so quickly on this discussion yet you've never chosen to share information with anyone. But you felt you had to join so that you could defend Welshy? How touching.

Someone mentioned that it scans on Value shower gel.
