...how do I sell on ebay.com?
I need to target a US customer base.
Do I simple log-on to .com with my.co.uk details and list from there?

Pretty much yeah, your US listings appear in dollars in you're listings and you get a dollar balance in Paypal.0

Also don't forget that you need to be clear that you are shipping from the UK..I used to list on ebay.com a lot and got fed up with the amount of buyers who didn't read the 'I am in the UK' statement and assumed that as they were paying in US dollars I was automatically in the US.
You need to be careful with your postal options as well, Unless it's changed then the US will be your standard default shipping and the UK will be 'overseas'. That's also important in case your items exceed the duty limits, as a US buyer will need to know that despite them buying on their local ebay the stuff is coming in from overseas and may therefore attract tax and duty.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
