Nice to hear that you got a result. I haven't actually ordered anything lately. When I have done in the past couple of months, if the company says they use famac when I ask them, I just tell them to forget about the order as it's not worth the hassle.0

All packages arrived next morning from a highly indignant driver, thought it was just a coincidence, until I got an email from CS at boots that lunchtime checking my order had arrived OK that morning.
Worth complaining to the actual company you bought from as Boots seemed to put a rocket up them :rolleyes:Well I Love Tv And I Love T. Rex, I Can See Through Your Skirt I've Got X-Ray Spex0 -
I get orders from Famac all the time and they are useless. I usually have to wait at least two weeks from when i order. It annoys me that when you order from a catalogue they say, oh that will be with you in 2-3 days and you say, oh no it won't, i'm in n ireland love!
Apparently, famac keep the parcels for a week before delivering them. No idea why. :xmassign:I like my money right where I can see it - hanging in my closet.;)0 -
Anyone hear Johnny Hero on Downtown this morning? He's obviously waiting for a delivery from Santa that Famac will not part with. Same story as the rest of us - he's contacted the sender who told him Famac had already delivered it, then tried to contact them directly but of course, they do not answer the phone. On air, he told them he was about to call round and that "they really did not want him to call round". So glad I'm not waiting for them this Christmas!0

I ordered a pressure cooker from Grattan at the beginning of October. When it hadn't arrived by the end of November they sent me another.
On Monday 19th December the second order sent on 14th December arrived. Then on Wednesday 21st December the first order sent on 2nd November arrived.
I didn't want to accept the second one, but the Famac man said I would be better to take it and then return it so that I had a receipt for the return. I can understand that. But I can't understand where the first order was hiding all that time.0 -

I have just had an order from Argos turn up today delivered by Famac. It had been booked to arrive today and it did arrive on time. However, my only gripe is that I ordered an item that was in stock at Argos on the 23rd December 2005 and the earliest date I could pick for delivery was Friday 6th January 2006 when everyone on the mainland ordering the same item on the same day (Xbox 360 Premium) was quoted a date of Thursday 29th December 2005 - over a week quicker.0
