MOrning all! Off soon to go to musical minis - not really looking forward to it as DD is in FOUL mood and threw lots of clothes out of her wardrobe this morning in a fit of rage *sigh*.
No post yet - getting frustrated with HSBC and the charges etc. Might complain higher up about the lack of compassion (???) to the situation and my commitment to pay it all off! I will refuse the managed loan and request theat they either deal with this or default me and send the debt to a DCA! Not waiting another 3 months and assocaited charges for them to do anything about it!
Have managed to increase my DMP payment from next month (if you've seen my other thread) and feeling really postiive about this.
Sorry I've not been on much - I do read all the posts but sometimes feel like I can't answer/refer to everyone and don't want to miss out important bits!
Very blustery here - hope everyone has a good day!

Good morning.
How are you all. Hope you are well.
Not much to report. Feeling 100% better today thankfully so thats good news as i have work this afternoon.
Not much in the post apart from a statement from Arrrrrrgghhhgos.
Nice for them to add interest and late payment fee dont you think. Still not heard from any of my creditors apart from First direct and arrrrrrrgghhhgos. Can i ring them on 0870 etc :rotfl: Yeah right i am that financially well off i can afford to ring them on that. I did send a reply to First Direct asking for a free phone number to contact them on but, suprise, suprise,no reply.
I am getting loads of phone calls at the moment for the local Health centre. Apparently they have put my number in by mistake  . I think i might pretend to be a doctor or something shortly:rotfl:
Apart from that all tickety booo in the Monkey house.
Hope you all have a good one.

Hiya all.
Hope you are doing well.
Not much to report, everything running smoothly,.
Yellowmonkey- Argos are one of my creditors, and it took them a while to stop interest, but they did and the calls and the letters stopped. They were one of the worst for the phone calls.
I got a chest freezer from freecycle which means i can stock up on bargins when i see them, so hoping it will save me money in the long run, already full of bread that was reduced to 10p at local shop last night, the woman must have thought i was mad, 10 lots of bread!!!!
Catch you all soon

Hi
Good morning all.
Just heard from First direct regarding my DMP. They are going to amalgamate???(Spelling) all of my outstanging balances onto the one account thus reducing the interest and they have accepted the Offer from Payplan :j :j :j :j .
They kept trying to get me to ring them but i stuck to my guns and emailed them only and they replied this morning. They did not say that the interest would stop but early days yet and as First direct are 3 of my creditors(Out of 6) i have 50% agreement straight away for my DMP.
Thanks to reading on here about peoples similar dealings with First direct i knew that to amalgamate the debts was a good thing. Thank you loads.
Hope you all have as much uplifting news as i have had today and will catch up with you all later

Hi.
There is a downer on today however.
I have to work this afternoon and its FA cup final day  .
Still have access to a TV so should be able to keep up with it.

Hi everyone
Sorry I haven't been on here much the last couple of days. I have been having a sort out and listing lots of things on Ebay so haven't had much time.
YM Brilliant news about First Direct. Hopefully when they start receiving regular payments from you they will freeze interest. Am I right in thinking PayPlan keep chasing your credtiros asking them to freeze interest?
Bad news about having to work on FA Cup final day!!! I'm not too bothered about football but my OH is and wouldn't be happy if he had to work today.
I am still waiting to hear from Barclaycard and Capital One. If I haven't heard from them by Monday I am going to have to ring them. I phoned Studio on Thursday to see if they had accepted and they said they had and I should have received a letter in the post. I still haven't received a letter. At least I know they have accepted but it would be nice to have it in black and white.
I still can't believe it's 6 days to payday and I still have money in my account!!:j PROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBTS :jPiggy points - 155

hi all
Its still early days for us atm with dmp with cccs, just received today confirmation of our monthly payment with them and asking us to forward creditor statements etc.
Have been bombarded with calls from lloyds about our ccs and payment is not even a week late.
When i got to work yesterday a message had been left for me with a collegue and apparently they said it was lloyds and they even asked him for my mobile number!!! Then when i was at work i took a call and they asked for me and i was so annoyed i said sorry i can not take personnal calls at work and could you call me at home please. it really upset me as i dont want this to effect my work life, its bad enough holding it together at home in front of children who are 12 and 7.
anyway this morning at 8.45am a call was answered and it was for my husbands cc with lloyds and he told them consulting with cccs and would be sending token payment, they tried to make him pay over the phone but he told them just changed banks and they would have to wait for cheque.
I then spoke with them about my cc and gave the same information about token payment and asked them to remove my work number.
I then called ge money my payment is less then a week late and i am already with collection dept (which is closed today) however the general dept input note to say i had called with token payment offer etc.
I then rang for lloyds bank loan (freephone number ) and gave details also the them.
I burst into tears after the first call but i think i am getting the hang of it now hopefully.
When they ask why are you in debt its soo difficult what did everyone put overcommittment? high cost of living? the bank giving me a 20,000 loan when i only earn 6,000k a year? that would go down well wouldnt it. also lloyds gave me a £850 overdraft and i earn half of that a month, ideally they should only give half your salary. Yes its our fault for the debt we know that but cant look back only forward.
anyway sorry for the rant its early days for us and whilst i am a tough person this is getting to me everyday now and i have got to make sure i stay strong for the rest of family.
bye for now.0 -
Hi bowz Try not to let them get you down, I know thats much easier said than done and sometimes its all you can manage just to hold yourself together. Sending big hugs, I hope you feel better soon! No one has the right to reduce you to tears no matter how much you owe them!:grouphug:
Have you sent your token payments yet? If not include a letter with each one stating that you only wish to be contacted in writing and if you continue to receive Phonecalls you will report them for harrassment. Send the letters recorded delivery then they can't say they didn't receive them.
You have every right to ask this, and do they not realise that by calling at work they could be jeapodising (sp?) your employment ! How much money do they reckon they would get if you lost your job??
Try to stay strong, it honestly does get better. It can take a while but you will get there in the end. Hang in there!!!!DEBTS @ 1/1/07 - £25,800:eek: DEBT @ 04/05/11 - NIL
