Thank MM2. It sounds like we are all starting to get somewhere now. I was just SO happy to receive a nice letter for a change! Have a fair few creditors to go yet but I am just hoping that they are all reasonable. Lloyds are one of my creditors (credit card) I hope that they are as good to me as they were you.
I make my second payment on 16th December - hoping they will all start responding then. Will have to wait and see.0 -
Hi all
How are you all. Well I hope. I am doing well with the DMP at the moment. Still sticking with it and nothing nasty at the moment and it seems to have settled down nicely. You watch kiss of death now :rotfl: :rotfl: . I am expecting a call soon regarding a review as it has been 8 months now since my first payment went out. Still cross that bridge when it arrives. Have been putting up my crimbo lights now for the last 2 weeks (Only outside, got inside to do yet  ) be glad when they are up and finished. Found some timers at a DIY store today that were reduced to a £1 so that should save me turning on and off the various sockets and shifting my furniture everywhere and dangling my hand down towards the socket in the vain hope my little finger may brush against it and turn it off :rotfl:
Take care all and still not smoking :T

hi all,
have been poorly again - this darn chest infection! Have been catching up on posts. So pleased to hear some good news on MBNA.
My own update, I have still not yet received a formal letter back, but I did get a chq for £10 through the post for the refund of the fee to send my statements and on my statement for last month they refunded some late fees as I said the money was always hitting my account very late and they seem to have halfed the interest on it. A total refund of about £300 odd. What I need to fight for now is the interest that should never have put on if they had instigated the RIP earlier like THEY said they should have and my charges. It does seem though that someone is at last taking me seriously.
The down side of all this is, I have been waiting to move for months from a nasty area and bingo a new place has come up, but guess what I am moving in less than 10 DAYS!!!! Holy macaroni! I have been filling boxes slowly but surely but I only really have this weekend to get it all done as out most nights next week with one committment or another and am working til midnight on the Friday! I am excited though. My mum has kindly offered to pay for the removals and that should be the only money needed. I have everything else and its the same landlord so no real money for deposits needs to change hands or anything.
If I am missing for a few days then please forgive me, but I will be thinking of you all!LBM: March, 2005

Morning all,
Hope everyone is well.
Has anyone using payplan logged on today as they have upgraded their site. All very nice but they have completely messed up my budget statement with incorrect entries. Have messaged them today!
Had another nice letter last night, Barclay loan have agreed to reduced payment amount and will be noting on credit file that have an agreed payment plan and not a default! Lets just hope payplan get the payments across regularly!
That's two creditors agreed, still lots to to but at least it's a start and is keeping me positive!

Hi just a quick one, hope someone can help
Well I have 11 creditors of which about 4 of them are for small amounts ie 300 - 600 pounds.
I am on a dmp and was wondering if I had and money gifts from parents this month if I should make additional payments to try and clear them, I know you are supposed to make one payment to CCCS but was thinking it would be nice to clear a few of the smaller debts then all the money i send would clear of the big ones ?
Any views? forgive me if this seems a daft question but not sure what to do?
Ie make extra payment to CCCS or hit one of the smaller debts direct ?Dmp Mutual Support thread member No 820
