RayDay do you think they would've stopped interest? I don't what the balance is anymore?!
Another moan..............I've paid a grand into my DMP so far and i'm sure my debt total has only come down by £200 how depressing is that??   :mad:In debt no more!0 -
In the early days it does go up rather than down, just until they have finished there charges and frozen interest then its downhill all the way!
I can only say with Lloyds current account one of my debts the hardest part was getting them to stop treating it as a bank account and treat it as a debt once they did that then they froze interest and accepted payments - so how about a tentive could be heading in that direction!?!0 -
Nice to see you around Jacks - or should I say welcome to the mad house!
Can I have a side moan here - I am so bloody freezing, our central heating works of sorts but leaks so waiting till a cheque comes to fix it, daren't risk gas, we have wooden double glazing its draughty - again above cheque will sort it - and we have in the garage an oill filed radiator the size of a flipping whale and bloody heavy so waiting for the big guy to come along and rescue it!
But until then blurgh so bloody cold!
And I am peeved off because I cried at work last night like a big whus - the most pig ignorant selfish man in the world told me I was paid to be physically attacked by his son! And guess what when the big cheque comes and our mortgage goes through I can tell him to go to hell and give work in.
How much do I want that cheque!
Sorry peeps bit of a "selfish" me moment I hate being cold - I shall go find fleeces!!!
What a horrible man!!
I hope you get your cheque soon so you can be warm0 -
Welcome to the new posters from me too.
Ashden, please ignore and forget that bully. I had one call like that but the next person I spoke to at that bank was fine. Calls all stop once things get moving and nearly all calls are sympathetic. All respond better once they know you are with Payplan or CSSS and partic. if you give them your Payplan/CSSS ref. no. Welcome top the board.
ILGD, very good to hear from you. We all like your posts and it is obvious you are a caring decent person. You will get through this. Hug and even a kiss from me. I'm getting more daring in my old age!0 -
rayday2, keep up the good work. You are a star!! Hug and kiss from me for your brilliant posts.
Bullying at work or anywhere is illegal and immoral. You might get some money from your employer through an independant tribunal or court as compensation if you can prove it of course. May be worth looking at once you have left. You have my sympathies and some boss you have got. I have worked in many different places but never come across that attitude. I hope you can stop it bothering you because you know those two have a big problem.0 -
onamission, Payplan are very helpful and treat you with respect and understanding. They have a lot of experience of this sort of experience and will lighten your load a lot. One day at a time is good?0

surfer_chicky, good luck with sorting things out and welcome to the thread. It is full of caring helpful people and is a credit to the human race. I know that sounds a bit over the top but it is a humbling experience reading this thread at times.0

I work as a Youth Worker but the young people have learning difficulties or disabilities. This YP flew at me (man size!) and sent me flying and doug his nails in me leaving blood and a bruise. I told the YP that he has "naughty" and he had hurt me so he could not have the Wii out next week which was what he didn't want me putting away at end of night. Another staff member had already refused to deal with him. Anyway this week I stuck by my guns and said no to the wii the YP asked me and I said no not this week and before I finished he sad "been bad" so he understood. But apparently its his disability not behaviour - which is completely wrong! I said that he had to learn boundaries at his level but apparently we are paid to take what they give out0 -
Evening all!!
Just thought I would drop in to let you know how our DMP is going - first payment is due 1st October so we will see what happens then!! We have received default letters from two of our creditors and these sound really scary:eek: Do we need to do anything with these as the companies involved will have received our DMP advice or do we just ignore them or should we let CCCS know about them?
We are also being inundated with phone calls from some of our creditors - both at home at all hours and on our mobiles - what a pain!! I just leave them to ring and then click onto our answering machine but funnily enough they never leave a message!
Finding it hard this month to stick to our budget but I feel SSSSOOOOOO much better now that we are dealing with our debts rather than constantly worrying (still worry but feels easier). Will have to put our SOA on here and see if anyone can help reduce our outgoings and get onto EBAY and get some stuff sold!!:j
Thanks for any adviceOfficial DFW Nerd Club Member no 694

Nice one Weemac.
You got your 2 defaults pretty fast!! I also start on 1st Oct, and only made small token payments for Sept.. I haven't got any defaults yet. Mind you haven't really heard from our creditors.. only 2 letters from a total of 3 creditors hehe.
I would forward your default letters to CCCS just to keep them informed. Thats what I will do if I get any, although im not sure if you have to send them on.
We have changed our home phone number, can you do that? I haven't actually spoke to any creditors, only by letter. Much easier!
Hey to the new posters, welcome to the thread! You will love it here!
