Is anyone else feeling the same as me at the moment?
I know you guys are wonderful with the advice and everything but i sometimes like to get a definitive answer by the experts (or so you would think?!)
I seem to be changing case officers every five mins, they are taking forever to get back to me and i daren't even try the phones!
Maybe it's just me! I want things now! I know they have thousands of people to deal with. Maybe i should just be patient eh?!
Just wanted a grumble!In debt no more!0 -
Grumbles are OK!
I think personally Payplan seem rather over subscribed several people complain about how long it takes for them to get back to them, you want reasurrance right away and like you said they have thousands to deal with.
Not sure I can help much but agree with you, hopefully it is nothing serious you are worried about. They do in valuable job just with current financial things in this country a lot of people are in trouble.0 -
You're right Rayday. A lot of people are in trouble but we're all slowly getting through it!
It's nothing serious that i'm worrying about, just want things to happen faster then they are and i want creditors to stop interest now. My debt is just getting bigger and not smaller at the mo. Last check it was nearly £400 higher than my sig below!
I'm ready for the creditors sending my debt to DCA's is just not knowing whether they'll stop the intrest. If they never will, why shall i bother carrying on with the DMP?
Does anybody think me sending letters will hurry the situation along or will it hinder it? I'm ready for some negotiation!! :rotfl:In debt no more!0 -
hi llou,....have a template letter on the nat. debtline website about stopping the interest.prob being alittle eager(im sorry, i know how frustrating it is when you have finally got the bull by the horns, iykwim).am afraid for the first few months of the dmp, the debt wil keep going up, cos they do everything they can to try to get their dosh back.....but it will settle down and they do give in when they realise you are paying the dmp and havent got any dosh.think everyone feels frustrated at first.consolation is to think how much interest they would have had if you had kept on treading water and trying to rob one to pay the other!!!!
patience is the virtue that all of us on the dmp route has learned, along with alot of good advice as well.
it does get better and a few months from now ,when you are an old hand at the dmp, youll be advising the newbies re your experiences.good luck xxPeople bring great joy into our lives..some by arriving, others by leaving.im trying to be one of the former, so please bear with

btw....hi to everyone else...:hello:
hope the suns out where you are and alls well with your world.dont like to mention the s word too much incase it goes back in:D
have mown the lawn and got loads done so have earned my keep today, at least :rotfl:
been sorting clothes out but have only filed them....cos im a hoarder and cant bear to throw anything away...unless it dies or falls to bits before my eyes, cos have the "will come in handy one day" mentality that i wish i could ignore.should do some serious decluttering and i do try.put stuff away for a year and think, if i havent used it for this long, ill get rid.the drawback is.....i then find the said stuff and get so excited cos cant think how ive lived without it!!!
never be cured:rotfl: dont know why i bother
anyway, have kept you far too long in my twilight zone:D
ttfn.....cos ill be back...
love ilgd xxPeople bring great joy into our lives..some by arriving, others by leaving.im trying to be one of the former, so please bear with

Morning All,
What a lovely day!! Looking forward to the Bank Holiday Weekend!.. Will be nice to just chill out in the garden if the weather stays like this.
Sent off my notification of DMP Letters today to 2 of my creditors along with token payments and a letter asking them to contact me in writing only. Not done the 3rd creditor yet as its my bank and still waiting for wages to hit my new account
...their payment isn't expected till the middle of next month anyway so I've got a while before they realise something is wrong
Have a nice day everyone!0 -
We've been away and just popping in to say hi. Also to say we haven't had all interest stopped yet either so hoping it won't be too long as it obviously adds to the debt. My sympathies to louby Lou about that and a big hug to all my other friends on here. Welcome to any new folk and yes it is a very good thread populated by real decent folks (said in an american southern drawl). See you all later and hope for some sun in East Anglia cos it is depressing having this grey blanket all the time.0
