Yayy! There you are missed you hope you are all Ok in your part of South Yorkie!
  • Jaks: Im not sure, as you have already sent an I/E.. and thats what they are asking for on the phone, then I wouldn't bother calling or writing.. they've got what they need, and if you called might just give you more hassle. I've never dealt with creditors though yet, so thats only what I would do :)

cuemix: I guess as long as you dont put a sarcastic comment in this box  then you will be ok. I put loss of income due to childbirth, living beyond our means and overstretching ourselves, as it has been a combo of the 3 that has caused us to be in this position.. the last 2 being the main ones as if we had been more sensible with money and planning, no 1 wouldn't be a problem :) Oh well :)
  • Hello everybody,

We have just started our CCCS DMP and in response to the offer they have sent to our creditors, Toyota is the first and only one to reply. They have rejected our offer and have threatened court action.

Has anyone else had dealing with Toyota finance?

    Jim

P.S hope everyone else is having a good day.:o

Has anyone else been in my position-without a good reason for their debt but been successful in getting creditors to stop or lower the interest payments? I just don't know the best wording to explain my situation any suggestions would be much appreciated.:o

I just put down that I had overreached myself on credit. No one has questioned it.

Not personally dealt with them but very few companies accept straight away you have to be consistant same offer this is what you are getting keep sending them the payments whether they have accepted them or not and wear them down like they want to you!

    Good luck!

Sorry, hello everyone. Sorry can't help with Toyota finance. But I wouldn't worry too much over it just yet - GE money said nope not accepting, then a month later accepted it. Some of them will wait till they get the actual payment (or two) before they agree to the plan ;)

Anyone had their 3 month review with CCCS yet? Have to arrange mine - problem is although a couple of things have gone down slightly, there are things I've actually missed off (monthly chiro treatments, car repair budget not enough etc) and am struggling a bit but don't really want to lower my payments to my creditors as it is now set up :o Not sure what to do really

I don't use CCCS as you know but for a payment review I did have to lower payments but I worded it as interest rates had gone up people accepted and interest remained frozen not sure what CCCS do though.

Thanks rayday. Think I could use that if I had a mortgage but not sure it works when you rent??

Will have to work out all the other figures and see what CCCS say. Just chiro alone is meant to be £32 every 3 weeks but I always have to put it off a bit longer till payday. My car cost £100 last month, new exhaust needed this month and it needs the suspension checked and at least one new tyre!! Think it's just that we haven't had it long so bits need doing, so hopefully that should stop after these bits are done. :o
