Well done on the possible uniform school voucher win :T

Clarkes are expensive but they do last a long time. Sometimes you have to weigh up cost against longevity(Sp?)

Don't you throw long words like that at me on a Sunday :p

Well last year we got Hush Puppies and literally lasted a month, I have used cheaper shops and probably will as the year goes on and they grow but for a September push they can look pukka!

Thinking that if coop in backlog, we wont get new account until maybe sept, with BH as well, so my wages will autmatically go into existing bank account, and if cccs have contacted them, we wont see a penny, and will be stuffed for petrol, food , electrics everything, so, decided not to send cccs papers until

1 - got new bank account
2 - confirmed with employer next wage will go into new bank details

this proabbly slows us down by a fortnight, but cant see alternative

Sounds very wise what you are doing I would not have sent letters out until I was sure I would keep my wages!

debtfree1day. Think you have made the right decision there. I could not start to think how i would cope if my wages got eaten up.

Not much to report today. Finished the tiling in the kitchen and all ready for papering tomorrow. Mind you i have a blood blister the size of Mount Etna after pinching the skin of my forefinger between a pair of plier's. It really hurts and as i am a man the pain is excruciating :D

    Hope you are all well

Anyone know roughly how long CCCS take to reply to an email?

I mailed them on Friday evening about my agreement, and what to send back with it.. still haven't got my balances in writing from 2 of the blimming creditors....

.. but haven't had a response as of yet. Cant really call from work and im lucky if I can get home before 8pm :(

Sorry WorriedMart. I am with Payplan and they generally answer emails pretty quick. Not to sure about CCCS. Creditors generally drag their heels about anything. It will get to you but you have to be prepared to wait(Pain i know)

Co-op have confirmed we have a new account with them which should be up and running before end of week...i'm soo relieved i can't tell you! It's taken 10 days from initial application and apparently its usually much quicker than that, i guess it's the holiday period etc. have missed cut off date for paperwork to get to cccs for dmp to start in sept, they've suggested we send double payment for october, i was really worried but it seems fairly straightforward in the end.
