Hi paulal
If you can't pay the next payment of the DD's then cancel them now.
If they ring to ask why just tell them you will send them a cheque this month (only a token payment but you can tell them that if they ask) and let them know that you are contacting CCCS about a DMP and will write to them when you have more details and reference numbers.
When you make your first payment to CCCS it's like a huge weight lifting
I expect you will be able to sort it out in time to start your first payment on 1 September but CCCS will be able to advise depending on how long it takes you to send them back all the account details and statements.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -

Hi all
Just got back from the family hols (brothers in Scotland) and returned to a deluge of mail from Lloyds wanting me to ring them to discuss my accounts on the loan and credit card (seperate mail). 2nd payment on my DMP made but Lloyds still piling the interest on! When will this stop!
My mortgage break ends this month and I'm back to paying full mortgage as from the 18th August! I have worked out the current income and expenditure and should be ok. Whats the average for a family of 4 to live on a month after everything is paid out?
Hope everyone is ok!

Hi all
Not been on for a while and things been all quiet on DMP front. Have made 2nd payment this month.
Had very little from any of my 3 creditors.
A while ago Barclays turned down DMP offer on loan and overdraft, issued a default, said to continue making payments and that debts would be transferred to DCA who would accept my offers. Heard nothing from them since.
Not a word from Argos Loan so just continuing to make payment through CCCS. Not a word from Sky credit card, until got statement today. Interest stopped and minimum payment showing is my DMP offer amount.
Managed to increase my DMP payment, so DFD is now under 8 years away and counting.:rotfl:
Hope everyone is ok. Reading latest Harry Potter and looking forward to the start of the footy season. :beer:0 -
I think I need a lottery win to get mine under 8 years but heres hoping lol!
Had a snotty letter from Intrum Justitia moaning I had not paid since June, it was nice to write a cocky letter back telling them actually you are wrong here is a list of last three payments, cheque numbers, amounts and date they cleared my bank account, I await an apology!0
