Congrats on your third star greatdanes :j
Bored here myself. No money so can't really go anywhere. Seem to spend every weekend cooking cleaning or food shopping and starting to get bored. If I suggest going anywhere for the day then OH will expect me to stump up all the money - even though he knows about the DMP he seems to expect me to have "extra" money for things. Oh well. Guess it was always me that funded it before - but on plastic
Apart from taking the kids to the park, and our anniversary meal out that I paid for, I can't think of anywhere we've been as a couple since, since before christmas. We only get two evenings a week together without the kids and bank holidays but still don't seem to do anything just for us. Time to think hard I think. Meals are out anyway as we are dieting so what else is free/cheap???????
We used to go for walks lots but as soon as we got married he didn't seem to want toworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Hi thanks everyone
I did not tell them after all. I know I am going to but not just yet, think I will see how it goes for a couple of months then take it from there. I received letter from hsbc saying cccs proposal for credit card is acceptable so that's one bit of good news I suppose. I am also looking at opening an account with Halifax as inteest rate is good and you get £100 after 2 months for openin the account which will certainly come in useful.
My housemate said he may be able to get me some work for a couple of weeks so watch this space...O my parents know I am fed up but they think it's because I am bored being off work (which mainly it is i guess, as it gives me more time to think about how daft I have been with £)!!0 -
toasti,.......stick at it.sure all will be ok with parents...and job offer is great news.all extra money is a bonus.see, every cloud.
always think the universe has something good just when we need it and always been proved right in my own life.know im in debt loads but it could have been worse, then when i thought there was no way out and at the bottom, something always turned up, so have faith and im sure all will be fine.
stick with me, im abit weird but im ok really!!!
newlywed.....men are deffo a strange breed and they deffo come from their mums to their wives.they all get set in their ways and as we all know on here ,it takes awhile to break a habit, especially if it works for you.hard to get out of the comfort zone, like me with the ccs.nice to pay with cash alone, but its so hard without a cc net to fall back on.
i sometimes wonder what we will do when ds leaves home and we are stuck with each other, cos thats a bit scarery for me.
money cant bring you happiness, but you can be sad in more expensive places!!!
must keep up the positive thinking cos its doing me the power of good, and im trying to infect you all,cos i have loads today...and its free.
so dont look a gift horse(which im starting to resemble, cos the diets not going as great as i wanted!!)
have a great rest of the day.love ilgd xxPeople bring great joy into our lives..some by arriving, others by leaving.im trying to be one of the former, so please bear with

Darn girl you determined to ruin my day you mentioned aniseed, now I feel the need to blow MSE diet too and run to the coast for a stash of rock!
You best find some MSE patches if you keep making my humongous tummy desire sugary products0 -
What about the special K thing? OH did that and lost lots. I'd get bored though
There's some lose weight threads on here - Lose weight 13 and Murphy's no more pies club
I don't follow a strict diet but just try and cut down on fat, cut out cakes and biccies completely and eat more fruit and vegWorking so far!!
