craftingqueen Doodles are brilliant. Last for ages, look good and wash well. I find Clarkes shoes expensive but when you think how long they last they are well worth it.

I loved Doodles but found my daughter used to take them off to easily back then not sure if its the same now they had the sort of lift up metal fastening and I needed to staple them to her feet but they always survived a machine wash!

    Hello everyone

The children are happily playing on the bouncy castle with OH supervising so thought I would say hello. No post for me today so nothing to report re: DMP.

YM Must be a Clarkes shoe day as I popped into town today to buy DD a new pair of sandals. They only had one pair in her size but luckily she liked them. Best of all they were reduced down to £12 from £18. Sorry to hear you couldn't get a pair to fit your DD. Tennis rackets :rotfl: - poor little girl!

CQ Sorry to hear about your pet. It's always very sad when I pet dies.

Rayday Hope your ex is okay.

Newlywed Sorry I also can't help with mortgages as we rent.

Valley Sorry to hear about your son. Other than that hope he had a good birthday. He sounds like a lovely lad.

Anyway better go and cook tea. Pork chops (£2.39), new potatoes and carrots (free as neighbour gave them to me from his garden) and peas. Strawberries for dessert (also free has MIL gave them to me today). All in all a very cheap meal.
    Make £10 a day challenge: November - £0/£300 :)

    morning all

have not posted for a while hope everyone is okay.
On the dmp side of things had a quiet few days with calls letters etc. I have had good news from some of creditors in my name. I have had some of the creditors accept, 5 have accepted the dmp so far. In all we have 12 creditors but 15 payments to make back with lloyds loan and overdrafts included.
However Lloyds have sent me a letter saying they will accept and review this for my accounts ie credit card and loan and overdraft. However my husband has overdraft and cc with them and they are refusing the accounts in his name (does seem silly when we are a couple) they obviously review people separately as the cards were not in joint name.(it sounds like they are sending him to agency) still some good news that some are accepting(just paid month 3 on dmp)
M&s have said they are not accepting payment offer but telling me to keep payment this amount anyway.?
I have been paying cccs by transcash and i know someone was asking question about this before, and about carrying the cash around to pay this, the post office most of them do accept switch card payment for this. Hope this helps.
    take care all
    bye for now.

    Morning all.

Well OH finally got his statements from Halifax - now we can't claim for them because of the test case . He would never have believed he'd been charged £1,600 over just two years!!

Hopefully at the end of the test case we will be able to get a bit of it back. :o
