Daft me if I read my sig they are now with CL Finance and they have been OK just asked me to keep sending them the money now and have not yet - touch wood - asked for a review.

To be honest I will feel better when all of mine have sold on I think so long as you pay then you are less likely to get a CCJ - just think probably wrong.

Yeah that's them. They say just carry on and they will contact CCCS and I don't need to do anything ;)

Hopefully blinkin Mint will pass mine on to a DCA and stop ignoring me and charging me more interest than my monthly payments

Have you tried writing a formal complaint to mint about it, that could spur them on.

I know I must bore people about complaints but its worth a try when nowt else is happening. Read the above mammoth post see if they are actually going against any of those guidelines and throw it at them. I did that with Lloyds and pointed out that they financially sponsored national debt helpline who I was using so why would they not do there bit!

Tried to get to my online account with Mint and apparently I can't get access because it's been passed to "another department". Hopefully that means they will stop interest some time soon or sell it on

Fingers crossed for you the limbo period is horrible when it drags on - once they all have suspended interest you feel you are getting somewhere with balances going down.
  • Morning All
Sorry I haven't posted much lately hope everyone is ok I went to see a guy in the cab a couple of weeks ago, he has written to mercers but they are still adding on the charges, I have to wait until the end of august to go back because my benefits are going to reduce a lot.
Matt is going to uni so I will lose my ctc and cb it works out that I will be down about 63.00 a week  so he will have to take over all my cc debts then so I will see how it goes.
Newlywed I hope that mint have passed your account on it is a pain when they keep charging the interest.
    Love to you all

    Thanks rayday and Ally.

Well the other balances are all coming downwards now, so there is just one that is more than it was at the beginning of the DMP - ie Mint CC.

So even with that still going up each month, the full HUMONGOUS total debt figure is at last falling. But it's annoying as it would fall a lot quicker if Mint stopped charging me £190 interest each month

5 years ago, if someone could have told me how much I would owe now, I'd have cut all the cards up and sorted it out when I had more spare income (ie living at home with parents).

Oh well. Live and learn

Ally, hope you get Mercers sorted, and hope things work out for you when your benefits reduce.

Sorry I have not posted on here for a while, I have been reading the thread but not on a daily basis. (slapped wrist) :rotfl:

Hope everyone is well and their DMPs are running well. Mine is ok I think all of my creditors have now excepted. I have a 3 month review with CCCs, I will call them on Friday (God Willing).

    Nothing else to report really.

Erm..... but you should see the balance :o

But when I started struggling they put my interest rate up from about 16% APR to 20% then up to about 24% APR. Which is when I lost all feelings of guilt about going on the DMP.
