Thanks IDA, HSBC paid just over £2000 back to me in May last year without going to court but A&L have been a nightmare. But, I am back now and it was the most nerve racking experience of my life. I was sitting in the waiting room and then a representative of A&L turned up and said they wanted to offer me £993.50 which was about £28 short of my original amount so I accepted. I had to go in to see the judge and he said that if they don't pay within 28 days then they would re-open the claim for me which would probably push them into paying. So I am very pleased and glad that it is over as it was just an extra stress that I don't need.

The money should come just before my daughters 2nd birthday so it should be a good day for her.

    Take care- Sweety

    Hello everyone

Hope everyone is well. Nothing to report for me today.

Sweety Glad to hear all went well at court and great to hear they are repaying just short of what you asked for.

Pay day today - yippeeeee :j . Can go and stock up the cupboards now - they were beginning to resemble Old Mother Hubbards.

    Speak to you all later.

    hi all
    Hope everyone is okay.

Thanks for all advice given recently. I received letter from M&s today saying not accepting what you are offering but keep paying this amount anyway. Strange if they are not accepting why is it telling me to keep paying.(of course i am going to do this anyway).
The creditors will have all received 2nd payments by today but only one has agreed so far.(cap one) Mercers are ringing on daily basis for my husband but they guy that called today seemed okay. will get hubby to ring them tonight and just advise same situation ie dmp.
I enjoyed transformers the other evening with free tickets, will keep looking for other offers during school hols. I am still without my car as exhaust needs doing and i got paid today so getting this done tommorrow. It has done me good walking everywhere this week instead of walking and using the car as well, and before i would have just got card done on visa card. Got a bit wet walking from shops this morning i had a brolly so i was okay.

Thanks for everyones advice as without these boards i would not have known about cccs and sorting out debts etc, i had been viewing these boards a while and never posted, just tried to cut back but debts were too servious and increasing, so for anyone thinking of taking that step and posting or needing support loads of help is available on these boards.

    take care all
    bye for now

    Hi All

I've had several calls on my mobile from this number today; 08453004275. When i've rung it back on my works phone (very MSE!!) it says it's my "Bank" (don't know which one!) and i will here from them in the next couple of days! But when i google it, it comes up with "SCAM, BEWARE!!"

    Has anyone else had this??

    Cheers
    In debt no more!
