Hi all
Night Forest: Welcome to the forum!
Knotty29: Welcome to the forum and good luck with your interview.
ILGD: Hope that your dog is back in your good books again.
YM: Spendiferous is definitely a word I need to fit into more conversations!!!
I have emailed the CCCS about the changes in my circumstances and they are yet to reply. I have asked that they let me pay the same for 3 months until I have paid off my final energy bills with edf, and then if they would raise the payments to reflect the rise in tax credits. So fingers crossed!!
Non DMP related, I have finally applied for my British Sign Language level 2 course. The background behind this random statement is that I work for the RNID (Royal National Institute for the deaf) I am the admin supervisor in a residential care home for deaf people with additional support needs. I have a burning ambition to become a BSL interpreter and after passing my level one exam last year have done nothing to progress further. So I have kicked myself up the bum and applied for the next stage. So fingers crossed.
Sorry for the long post I just wanted to share my nervous excitment.
Everyone take care- Sweety:wall: Only Dead Fish Go With The Flow!!!

Sweety. Good luck with the signing. Something that has always intrigued me and sorry if it sounds a bit childish but on CBBeebies they used to have a program called 'Something special' with Mr Tumble. It was a program that was done with signing and my children loved it. They now know how to say 'yes' in sign language. Not much but anything that can help anybody is excellent as far as i am concerned. Well done. I tell you, you meet people from all walks of life on here :T

YM: Something special is great. My nephew and daughter love to watch it and it is good for teaching young children signs. I'm from down souf as well you know and isn't it a lovely day!!
ILGD:How is he on the gardening front? My front garden is full of weeds so if your hiring him out send him my way!!!!
Take care- Sweety:wall: Only Dead Fish Go With The Flow!!!

Ha YM - its just like that in the Midlands today too (minus the sea and sand of course -lol) but predicting flash floods tomorrow - grrrr. According to the BBC weather you're supposed to have the flash floods today - how come you haven't???? You really do have magic powers don't you??? Why not spread your magic to the lottery and allow all the member of DMP club to have a substansial win - how cool would that be?? Totally splendiferous!!
Take care. Love n hugs to all

They use the makatan signs and symbols, that programme is very handy for us we work in special needs as a youth worker and most our young people have to communicate with signs or symbols - I learnt the toileting one very quick!0 -
Sweety. Thank goodness i am not the only one to hear of 'Mr Tumble'. Must be my inner child but i find myself trying to copy the signs. Not very successfully i am afraid
ilgd. I will do my best with my spell for everyone to win something on the lottery this weekend. Any DMP club winners this weekend i hope the spell works.
